For the past 3 years I never failed to eat more then once at The Shop whenever visiting Phnom Penh (5 times)....this time, last week, I ordered their signature salad again but at the sight of it felt reluctant to attack because of the ghastly look of it....went for it anyway and felt as if I was eating a newspaper... Have been eating at this place whenever I've been in Phnom Penh for 12yrs now and it continues to delight. Returned on this visit to find familiar staples like the delicious banana and date smoothy still on the menu and some new, interesting sandwiches/meals. Staff are friendly and service is prompt. The sweets/cakes are a feast for the eye all... More

Lovely little cafe with a scrummy menu, definitely try some cake. Ideal for lunch or afternoon tea if you are visiting the Royal Palace as it is very close by.

Came across it by accident and then realised everybody knows it. An oasis of French cakes and coffee made on the premises. Creative meals and a nice chill ambience. Get yourself there. It walking distance to the Royal Palace and Sisowath Quay.

...Easily when you've had them here! Unbelievably perfect eggs, tasty bacon and full bodied coffee. Enough said, our best breakfast in Phnom Penh.

We have tried four different flavours of cakes and all of them are up to the standard and even out of my expectation. Different layers of good tastes! Good atmosphere for relaxation.

Located at No 39 on the ever so funky Street 240. The Shop sits in good company neighboured by other eateries and boutiques along the street. Their mint and lychee coolers are the answer to beating Cambodia’s summer. While the menu changes weekly it never fails to impress. Order one of their fresh salads or home made quiches and you’ll... I spend almost more time here than in my house. Wake up, walk to The Shop, coffee, brekkie, coffee, work, home (sometimes after lunch!) Good coffee, menu changes a lot, wifi if you need, nice pastries as well.

Had an awesome breakfast with freshly baked croissant, omelet and smoked salmon, and complemented that with tea. The bakery feels very local though it mainly serves western selections. The ambiance make me want to sit down and enjoy the bustling of the city, while sipping a cup of coffee. A good place for a hearty breakfast!

The Shop serves some great tasting fusion food to regain some strength after strolling around in the old Phnom Penh. Smoothies are delicious and chocolat desserts will remind you of Europe!
