Delicous food with a cause!

We went for lunch here as part of our organised tour. The set menu was delicious. We had a cold minced chicken salad which left a real zing in the mouth. The main course was the typical dish of the region, Pork Lok Lak with rice. It was absolutely delicious. However the cold Taro Porridge was not to our taste!... More

We ate at several training restaurants in Cambodia, most of which were rated in the top half dozen restaurants in town. This one was the exception, but we thought it offered some of the best food we had in Cambodia. We particularly enjoyed a beautifully cooked river fish that we had as our main course. We thought that the value... More

Had lunch here while in Phnom Penh. Restaurant doubles as a hospitality training facility and this shows: staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. The food is good, though quality can be somewhat varying. The presentation is very good though and prices are low for what you get: Usd 2-3 for starters and usd 3-6 for mains.... More

I was expecting great things from this restaurant, but sadly, I felt let down... I agree with a previous reviewer "PF" that the staff are not properly trained and there seems to be a lack of mentoring. For instance, we were asked what we wanted for desert, as we ordered our main, which was a little odd. Don't get me... More

This restaurant is the training place of an NGO training underprivileged youth in hospitality among other things. But you don't have to go there "just to help": the food is amazing, with great service and in a very nice setting. Really a great restaurant...the social project makes it really one of the best you can find in Cambodia.

We wandered into Lotus Blanc one night and had a really lovely experience. The fish amok is delicious, and the service was absolutely perfect. We never had to ask for a drink refill or go hunting for the staff when we needed something. I recommend sitting upstairs where you get a bit of a breeze and can sit on cushions... More
