The cafe is quite easy to find as it is located directly opposite of the famous monument and it's a lovely spot for brunch with friends. I had the pumpkin stuffed spinach ravioli and it was great for $5/6

Warm and friendly staff, good atmosphere food, drinks great music, I'm regular at here and what I like most is that there is no dress code and it still holds good reputation I feel free to stop by for a coffee or lunch or to take my family to a drink or a dinner . Keep doing your job the... More

The drip coffee is a magnetic force which continually drove me back to Java cafe. The beans are sourced locally and they make a strong brew – just how I like it. The menu is western style with tasty omelettes and pancakes a hit at breakfast. They take pride in baking their own treats in house such as their delightful... More

We stopped there one morning for breakfast, we had nice seats overlooking the scenic monument on the main road, and we had the best cappuccino we found so far in Phnom Penh. We also ordered fruite with yogurt and muesli and banana pancakes, all very good!

This is a good spot to escape the chaos outside. It's on the main road but as soon as that glass door shuts, it's pretty peaceful inside. Good coffees and brekkie (although I had lunch here once that wasn't amazing). Cruisey music and internet so if you need somewhere to hang for a few hours and have a few coffee,... More

We stopped by here today for a quick lunch, but ended up staying for hours. Centrally located near the Independence Monument, this place offers nice sandwiches, homemade cookies and cupcakes, and their own Arabica coffee blend. We started out with sandwiches and frappucinos, tried some of the cookies, and finished of with a couple of drinks. They do quite good... More

I visit Phnom Penh frequently and always visit Java Cafe. The staff are friendly (if a little slow - but that seems to be the norm in Phnom Penh). The atmosphere is relaxed, the interior is pretty but simple. I really like sitting on the upstairs balcony and watch the world go by. The fresh juices are really good, as... More

I had a latte and passion fruit juice and did some work here while waiting for a friend in Phnom Penh. The passion fruit was fresh and delicious, the coffee strong and amazing (but not too sweet!) There were lots of people in here working on laptops and ipads and I felt ok about staying and working quietly for longer... More

I wonder why service quality tends to drop when a place becomes successful. Java Cafe seems to confirm this. Service was slow, waiters were not responsive. So, three stars instead of the four I would otherwise give. I had a nice drink listed in the 'Recommended' menu. In the hot Phnom Penh weather, it was refreshing. I would have liked... More

The best place in Phnom Penh to just relax on the balcony and sip at an Iced Coffee, watching the motos speed down the Boulevard. If the heat has got to you (it certainly did for me), then this spot is perfect for to cool down, write your journal or answer all those emails from people in places significantly less... More
