We came here twice as the food, ambiance, service and location were all perfect. Great coffee too. Highly recommend!

We have had some really bad coffee in Asia... But thankfully we found Java ... Suggested to us by a tuk tuk driver - lol! Only had coffee and a snack so can't comment on food b- just really pleased with the coffee.

This was recommended to us by a Cambodian student and I'm so glad we made the effort to try it. The food was so reasonably priced and the service was great. Delicious cookies, perfect place upstairs to read a book.

Returned to Java after two years away and am pleased to find it maintaining its interesting menu, reasonable prices and friendly service. We sat in the cool upstairs art gallery and enjoyed our lunch. I'm grateful for a cafe in Phnom Penh where I can encourage my daughter (8) to devour her salad knowing it will have been hygenically prepared.... More

My son wakes up on the weekend and asks where we are going today. I tell him I don't know and asks what he wants to do. After thinking about it says 'hmmm... lets get pancakes at Java.'. (For the parents... good burgers, shakes, and pasta.) Also good work environment.

The cafe is quite easy to find as it is located directly opposite of the famous monument and it's a lovely spot for brunch with friends. I had the pumpkin stuffed spinach ravioli and it was great for $5/6

Warm and friendly staff, good atmosphere food, drinks great music, I'm regular at here and what I like most is that there is no dress code and it still holds good reputation I feel free to stop by for a coffee or lunch or to take my family to a drink or a dinner . Keep doing your job the... More

The drip coffee is a magnetic force which continually drove me back to Java cafe. The beans are sourced locally and they make a strong brew – just how I like it. The menu is western style with tasty omelettes and pancakes a hit at breakfast. They take pride in baking their own treats in house such as their delightful... More

We stopped there one morning for breakfast, we had nice seats overlooking the scenic monument on the main road, and we had the best cappuccino we found so far in Phnom Penh. We also ordered fruite with yogurt and muesli and banana pancakes, all very good!

This is a good spot to escape the chaos outside. It's on the main road but as soon as that glass door shuts, it's pretty peaceful inside. Good coffees and brekkie (although I had lunch here once that wasn't amazing). Cruisey music and internet so if you need somewhere to hang for a few hours and have a few coffee,... More
