Got to Phnom Penh a bit too early to check in to our hotel, so we went here for breakfast. Friendly staff, great smoked salmon omelette with decent bacon. Had English breakfast tea and read the local news paper. Would definitely come here again, think foreign local hang out.

Open relaxing bar, wifi and big windows. My kind of place. The coffee was good, the service was friendly, but some of the art put me off! Some pieces are lovely, some are a little dark for display for a coffee with friends.

Go there to see the wonderful art gallery behind the coffee shop. The balcony is lovely and you can sit next to all of the westerners whom you may have missed at similar establishments. But again, if you want to see interesting art, with solid prices then go there and take the time to visit the gallery. I am still... More

After a week of local foods we had a need for a western lunch and to cool from the mayhem and heat of the city. This place has Aircon inside but we opted for the balcony overlooking the rush hour. It has fans and is sheltered from the sun. Free wifi. Burgers here are great especially the chicken burger which... More

When you're hot and tired and hungry, Java is as good a place as any to put your feet up, relax, chill out and enjoy anything on the menu because it's all good. At the end of a long day, the chocolate mud slide is a particularly potent and delicious way to completely unwind.

Have been here several times and can highly recommend it. The food is really good. The top balcony very nice place to enjoy a salad. Taking all into account (quality. Food. Service. Price) i can only give it 5 stars.

Good quality food for lunch. My wife and I both ordered sandwiches are were very happy with the quality of the bread and cheeses. But, the cookies. Man, the cookies! Everything is baked fresh, and the cookies were pillowy, beautiful, and soft. Just the way I like 'em.

Decent lunch in a pleasant place. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere (we sat on the balcony upstairs) and the service was prompt and helpful.

Java Cafe is a great avenue for the emerging art scene in Phnom Penh, which adds color and style to the place. The location is idyllic, as it faces the statue of the late King Norodom Sihanouk, while the decor has a classic feel. For a place like this, it is surprisingly affordable. I wouldn't be complaining about the food... More
