brilliant place to stop for a drink

I'd rate Friends as one of the best places to pause. Well trained staff, good service and a lovely building. The ethics of the venture shine through.

Really worthwhile place to visit. Had dinner one night then lunch next day. Sat outside. Busy and unusual as all students learning a trade. Nice small tapas size portions mixture of East and a West. Bought the cookbook after.

We had high hopes when coming to this restaurant but it was a very disappointing experience. We had a group of 6 and the service was very poor. They were not attentive at all and didn't know what they were doing and kept mixing up the drinks we wanted and the food also didn't taste that great. very basic. We... More

This seems to be part of a chain of restaurants that takes kids off the streets and trains them in the restaurant trade. The staff are very friendly, although some are in early stages of training and others are much more proficient. The food was very nice and the service was good. Of course it was a bit pricey by... Love what is being done to train the street kids! Good atmosphere. We arrived without reservations but after a short wait we were seated outside. Service was friendly, professional, and attentive. The alcohol drinks were strong, good, and cheap. The tapas were great with a large variety , and large portions . Support the cause and enjoy a good meal... More

Here are kids from the street cooking you absolutely great food! And they have so much fun doing it! Here we had the best food in Phnom Penh. And you support a good institution!

I had dinner and lunch here. Visited this place about 6 times now, half last January and most recently this week. Location is great, next to the Museum. The staff is ok. The food I found to be just OKAY. nothing special.

Too much hype about average restaurant. Nice tapas, but the value for money is not balanced at all. The service was very friendly tho.

Had dinner her on 26/3. We had no reservation, however they promptly seated us in the outside courtyard. After discovering that inside wa. No smoking section, they moved us inside as we are non smokers. The food was tasty and the service friendly. We shared 3 tapas dishes between the 2 of us which was plenty.

This is a tapas style restaurant with a variety of choices (including several vegetarian). The menu is a nice Asian fusion. The service is excellent. A bit pricey by Cambodian standards (cheap by Western standards) but the cause is great and totally worth it
