Deserves support

A good idea, training youngsters in catering, that also produces good food. Cambodian tapas is a novel twist. We visited at lunchtime and although busy got a table with no problem. The linked shop next door is also a must to visit, particularly if you are looking for presents to take home.

Nothing blew me away here, food was rather bland. I wanted to support the initiative behind Friends, but I would not be coming back.

Definitely worth a visit, and the food was delicious. While not "expensive" by American standards, it was the most expensive meal we ate while in Cambodia (~$25/person). I didn't realize it was tapas, so be prepared to order a few dishes per person. I love the social impact behind the restaurant, so our group did not mind the extra cost... More

My partner and I stopped at Friends the restaurant to have a cold drink to escape the constant offerings of tuk-tuk services. This is a charity organisation which is working with poorer families to keep young people in schools, bettering their education and work prospects and investing in the future of Cambodia. The staff were very friendly and were familiar... More

By far the best meal we had in Cambodia. We shared 4 "tapas" plates between two - everything was delicious. We visited the sister restaurant, Marum, when we were in Siem Reap. A great venture to support (and place to fill your belly)!

Highly recommended ! This was an awesome place. You have to make a booking as it can be really busy. Such a nice place and a great cause to support too.

Food was excellent, service with a small and most important is the fact that it's a social enterprise....it's a few blocks from royal pace and definitely worth your time even if it's a few dollars more than street food, it's going to a good cause. Even if this place was not a charitable endeavor, the food was so good that... More

Eaten here 3 times in the past year, food and service has never disappointed although it's perhaps a tad pricey and portion sizes small. Otherwise, def worth a visit as good cause and decent interesting food options.

A great vibe and what a fantastic social enterprise. Great to see the students getting trained in hospitality. The food is great. 3 tapas will do the job between 2 people. Get the risotto balls!!! Get dessert! It's slightly more expensive but totally worth it for the food and to help a great cause.
