Great food for a great cause

Went here for lunch on a recommendation, and it was worth a visit. It is a training restaurant for disadvantaged which is a great cause to help train people for a future in hospitality. Despite the good reviews for this restaurant , our group of 6 was a little disappointed. We must admit that the service is great and the staff tried their very best. We were indeed impressed with their attitude but not with the food. We ordered several starters to share and must say the quality of food stopped there. The mains... More

Such a nice place. The staff was very friendly and the tapas and burger that we order were amazing! I got 2 dishes with tapas, one soft drink and a delicious cheese cake for under 20$ - and it was all for a good cause!! Right next door there is a store with lots of cool things and pedicure for... Yes it is on the expensive side for SEA restaurants but it's worth every penny! The service was also top notch....they even come back... More

Another great cafe with a cause - this time supporting street children by providing work and using the profits for the centre next door. Great job!

We had a lovely meal here at Friends. The staff were attentive and friendly. We shared three tapas plates between two of us and we were stuffed by the end. Definitely try the Burmese chicken curry, really tasty! It is a little pricey but worth it as a treat!

The food here was a surprise, well presented and excellent taste. The staff are all young teenagers that are learning a trade. Friends helps to take them off the streets and give them a future by teaching them trades.

One of the best restaurants I've been to since travelling Cambodia. The service is exceptional and the message behind the restaurant with teachers helping young people is heart warming. As well as this, the food is delicious! We had 2 tapas each and this was more than enough food. Zucchini fritters and meatballs were among our favourites! This is a... More
