The food served is tapas style, the range of dishes is excellent covering both local dishes and a small nod to international cuisine. Service is good and friendly. Staff are a mixture of teachers and students, the latter being street kids given an opportunity to work in a restaurant and work their way out of poverty and street life. A... More

Went here on the recommendation of our tour guide and now wish i had gone before! I had crispy fried shrimp wantons and a pomegranate and lime margarhita. Both were excellent but i was surprised by the ring of salt around the glass instead of sugar! The staff, mostly 'teachers' but a few ' students', were very friendly and helpful.... More

I still really don't know why businesses very far of Spanish or Mediterranean cuisine use to promote themselves 'Tapas'. Friends, for sure, is not a 'Tapas'restaurant. But the biggest problem is quality is invisible. I really feel frustrate after I went to this restaurant following some good reviews. Sorry for that but Friends is nothing special.

We think Friends is the best restaurant in Phnom Penh. We wish we'd had dinner there sooner instead of on our last night, though it was a wonderful end to our trip. We sat outdoors in the gorgeous, lush, green surroundings and enjoyed a couple of cocktails and three excellent dishes - a Burmese chicken curry, blackened Tonle Sap fish... More

We visited Friends as we had heard good things about it and wanted to support a great cause. We ordered 3 tapas plates - all of which were delicious, especially the fish with mango salad! Yum! Their cocktails are meant to be great too but we didnt try these. Yes, the prices are a little higher then in other places... More

Friends was quite a surprise for us. The restaurant helps youth learn to cook and serve and keep them off the street. Amazing Burmese Chicken curry and highly recommend the pomegranate and lime margaritas. The restaurant doesn't have ac, but the breeze moves perfect through both the indoor and outdoor seating perfectly and the service was very well done. The... More

Very Nice tapas kind of diners and lunches, well presented and good in Taste. Students are cooking, teachers everywhere around as supervisor. Nice paintings and shop around the corner. Well done!
