We visited this restaurant after the glowing reviews on T/A. We arrived around 6 pm and only just got a table. While we were there a constant flow of people arrived and those without a booking left disappointed. Only the two of us and being a Tapas bar (smaller meals) we ordered 3 main meals. Well it was a real... More

Another restaurant by the Tree Alliance that helps disadvantaged kids. The food was excellent and so were their cocktails. Located inside a heritage house that have been given a facelift makes the ambiance very cozy for dining there.

Friends was a winner for me for a few different reasons. 1. I'm not usually a fan of tapas as I don't really like meat so there's generally not alot for me to choose from but Friends had an amazing vegetarian selection! 2. I've got a bit of a weak stomach so generally steer clear of salad or when traveling... More

Avoiding to talk about the good porpoises of the place, the restaurant it self is very good. It actually is tapas style fusion cuisine, everything is very tasty and very well presented. Unfortunately they don't have a proper bar and a big selection of drinks, but their drinks are very good anyway: balanced cocktails using fresh local ingredients.

It is, of course, a pleasure to know the meal you are having is for the good cause. Besides that, the food was delicious so Friends Restaurant has to be 100% recommended.

Ate here with four friends tonight. It was super busy and we had to wait for about a half hour for a table. Well worth the wait!!! Steak sandwich was so delicious and cheap too, and the dessert selection was fab. Everyone loved their food and there was a great menu to choose from. A must stop for a meal... More

This really was great dining experience and set me up to explore all restaurants of this consept in Cambodia and Laos. Menu was full of interesting options and and truly imaginative, it was really hard to pick your meal as every thing sounds so good. Meal was great, salad I had was very tasty. And I couldn't skip the dessert... More

The staff is super friendly. The restaurant and cool store next door support underprivileged cambodian children. They have a school right there. It is a friendly way to start moving around the country. There are many backpackers and tourists willing to talk and have fun. The food was excellent. Do not miss the red sticky rice!

I really enjoyed Friends Restaurant, both times I went. While the service is very quiet and humble, it is prompt and sincere. The food was delicious, especially the coconut chili ice cream with grilled pineapple. I also loved the sister store next door with a variety of items created by street youth and their families. Well done, Friends!

First of all, this is a café that serves fusion (local Khmer, tapas, burgers, etc) food catering to mostly non-locals. The main difference is that it is supported by Friends International which helps the local community. Please have a reasonable expectation which is to have good food. Now that I have mentioned that, I will comment on what matters; food. We... More
