Definitely westernized but done very well. The purpose behind the restaurant is also good and paying a little more is certainly worth it. The food was excellent and the atmosphere is good too. We just stumbled on it as we were walking next to the market, but knew the background and was excited to see the sign. I ate with... More

Friendly staff. one of the better indian restaurants. good location also. The curries were very aromatic and it goes really well with rice. better than many other similar dishes at other restaurants. will go back if I'm at the location in the future

As a volunteer in Phnom penh Jars of clay was something to look forward to during the day. It has a very calm atmosphere which makes it the perfect spot to take a break, read a book and have a nice drink (Coffee, tea, juices). I haven't had any meals there but i hear they are quit good. The food and service at the Jars of Clay was excellent! I personally had a coffee and cheese cake and they were both delicious. The environment here was great as well! My friends and I spend half an afternoon talking and relaxing here. I would not hesitant to go back again!

Beautiful food, good servings, quick service. Not the cheapest in the city but prices comparable to lesser cafes at home. The food was fresh and really enjoyable. Would highly recommend it.

A taste of Cambodian local dishes. If you care about hygienic food, this is definitely the right place for you to dine in. Great local dishes... i love the "fish paste" visited: December 2005

A familiar taste of western with the chicken snitty and mashed potato if you're feeling a little bit homesick. Lots of yummy goodies on the creative menu. Had the best chocolate milkshake of my life there. Would be back for that alone!

I like the location near Tuol Tompoung market. I disliked the bitter, small coffees served here; the prices that were rather high for such tiny drinks; the sliding door as the entryway (people invariably forget to close it behind them, allowing smoke from the chronic chimneys to seep into the restaurant); the unsmiling staff; the fact that for some very... I have been coming to Phnom Penh for 7 years and this place is still the place to be. Large meals , cold air-con, friendly staff, tasty food and good value.

If you plan to come here with your other 1/2 of the orange this is ideal. If you're from the United States then this would feel like home. Fish and chips is good. The pasta is not my favorite. Be sure to try everything, however, because Jars of Clay will always be in foremost part of your mind. The home-like... More
