A pleasure to be there

Visited this restaurant twice in the space of a few days, and found it a delightful haven of food, drink and peace. On the first occasion there were six of us having lunch, and on the second occasion there were three of us enjoying mid morning drink and cake. On both occasions the service and... read more

This restaurant was the first place I went to eat in Cambodia , it is fairly popular and serves both Khmer and western style food . The prices are cheap at around 4- $5 for a meals and $2 for a dessert . It is air coned and has some pretty cool chair to sit on as well .

This was recommended to me by a friend. Beautiful service, tasty cheap food Asian and western style. Last I saw the place was being renovated so should be even nicer now. Felt like a safe oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh

We have heard so much about this place from friends. We came for lunch and thankfully we were early to avoid the lunch crowd. The various meals we ordered were very good and generous portions too. The baked potatoes, fish fillet and the stir fried chicken were very delicious. But be prepared for slow service as they seemed to be... More

We went here on a lunchtime and it certainly was not tranquil or peaceful! It was absolutely rammed pack with foreigners. People were sat on chairs with plates on their knees!! I don't care if it is the most amazing restaurant in the world I will not sit with a plate on my knee in this class of restaurant. We... More

Jars of clay offers a relaxing atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh. The mango chicken salad is delicious. Jars of clay is a good place for foreigners to get lettuce, tomatoes and other raw veggies without worrying about the cleanliness issue. We had 8 in our group and everyone was pleased with their food. The fruit... More

Superb and reasonable, we savored every dish. Service was good- a little scattered, but hardly reason enough to write this one off. Would absolutely return and recommend.

Very close to the Rusdian market and the hotel I was staying at .. I was feeling I'll and didn't want to travel far. Entire menu is available throughout - as in all day breakfast lunch and dinner. Had a super fresh ginger and apple juice. chicken mango and cashew nut was great I asked for it a little spicy... More

Near to the Russian Market is Jars of Clay Restaurant which is only 1 1/2 blocks down from the main gate on.... Clearly marked on lonely planets maps, turn right as you come out on ...road. The Lok Lak is exceptional and has a great flavour $4.75 US. The Kmer chicken and fish curries $4.25 Us, are also good, a... More
