Great local food restaurant

it is a great restaurant for local cuisine with a modern touch. Stylish décor, great staff. Try dushbara ( tiny dumplings stuffed with meat in a broth), dolma (grape leaves stuffed with meat served with sour crème), all sorts of plov (rice with meat) and big list of soft drinks and lemonade made... read more

I never quite understood why locals always take foreign guests to this place. Yes, food (aziri) is excellent, but all is quite formal, cold atmosphere, uncomfortable seating. However, always better than hotel restaurant, but there are more fun (and typical) places in Baku.

This is nice option for those who wants to get acquainted with national cuisine in more or less modern environment. Some times it overcrowded but it doesn't spoil general impression

First of all this place does not serve Turkish food it serves Azerbaijani food; the cuisines may be similar but Azerbaijan has many dishes that we don't have. Top quality place, first class, went 4 people, tried all different local foods all were great, only "basdırma" needed to be more tender as it is the character of that steak dish... More

I was taken to this well established Baku restaurant under the guise that this was local cuisine. While there are similarities between Azerbaijani and Turkish cuisine, there is no doubt about it. It's Turkish and it's as good as any restaurant one would find in Istanbul. In fact, in many cases it's better. The restaurant was packed. Always a good... More

If you want to show some of your guests Azeri food in show off place, is the one to go. However i couldn't find anything special there for myself, and there are places with the same type of food tastier and cheaper.

Excellent food, great service, good choice of wine. Good well served local flavoured food. It's an upmarket place, so the prices are up the market. I was left with the impression that it caters for those who want to be seen there. Yes I'd go gain. Discretely.

On 31st October we went there with friends and colleagues. We were 12 people. We ordered kebabs, gutabs, soups, coctails and champaigne. Food portion is smaller than in most restaurants. Taste is good, but prices are not reasonable. Design and ambient is nice, but everything was ruined by personal who don't speak English and most don't even speak Russian, poor... More

A place in the new city not far from the seaside. It is decorate in Azeri style, an oriental one in its own way. We tried the entrees as cheese, grape leaves with rice and lamb, cut meat like local salami.. Than the plof, basmati rice with a souce made up of lamb, apricot, onion and cooked in pan vegetables....
