I love the authentic feel of the restaurant of its food with the local dishes, the interiors and the local performers of songs and dances and good service of staff.

We arrived at the restaurant and were taken to the top floor. No one showed us a table so we seated ourselves. Even though the restaurant was almost empty we were asked to change tables because of a reservation. So far not a big problem. We were then handed one menu card (for the two of us) after we waited... horrible service, terrible food, personnel smoking in kitchen... They sat the 2 of us down at a dirty table with 1 set of cutlery only, then they brought 1 menu. When I asked for another one, they made faces. We needed to stop more waiters to get us served. The dishes we ordered came in a non-sense order. Food was... More

Visited the karaoke and disco on the third level late at night. Was completely empty but we decided to stay anyway as there was a group of nine of us. When the time came to leave, we were told that there was a charge of 2,000 AMD per male and 500 per song sung at karaoke!! We had only requested... More

I honestly don't understand why this place is so well rated. I personally found the food simply not tasty. The 'Old Erivan steak' was actually very small and about 1/5 of it was bone. The staff was unfriendly and not well-mannered (a waiter smoking a cigarette when serving guests with toddlers). And the bill was incredibly high. They even billed... More

Old Erivan used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Today I visited this place after 8 years and was quite disappointed about service. On arrival and departure no one greets you, thanks you or paying any attention. You need to hunt for some one to ask for a table. Waiters were to arrogant, looking very unprofessional and being rude... More

This is supposed to be an historic restaurant and many like it. Not me. Every city in the world has its “tourist trap” and Yerevan could not be an exception. I almost expected this but still I wanted to go there to see what kind of folklore dances Armenia had to offer. This is a 4-5 floors restaurant in a... More
