I should have known better - this place has the feel of a "tourist trap"...and the attitude and lack of service we experienced confirmed my fears! The service here is so bad it's almost funny - the wait staff have serious attitude and show complete disinterest in foreign guests (eg we had to ask 4 times for the bill; we... More

Caucasus tavern is a very nice restaurant found in downtown Yerevan. It offers all types of Caucasian food with very good prices. It was a great experience visiting this restaurant and will definitely try it again.

We came here thinking it was a good restaurant, but when we entered it was a lot of tourists. Food is not good, and waiters treat you in a hurry and bad humoured. They treated us like numbers.

Good food, relatively cheap. The service was very fast. It was very big but clean. Good toothpick holders.

A very good price/quality restaurant, where you can try different food of Caucasian cousin. There is a good national alive music in the restaurant during the evening hours. Another good thing is the fact, that this restaurant started to work 24/7, which is good news for people who like to spend the whole night in the city )

To prevent the hassle, I went there personally to book a table for the night of the same day, Since I was just one person, I was told that I can choose between downstairs and ground floor. I chose ground floor because I thought it might be more crowded and more fun. When I arrived that night and sat by... More

The restaurant desperately needs competent management! We ate there this evening and we just wanted a decent meal at a convenient restaurant with good service. Unfortunately, for me and my family, the food was a big disappointment! When I tried Khinkali (dumplings stuffed with meat), I was shocked - THE MEAT WAS ROTTEN!!! No. The problem is not just the... My family loves eating here when we are in Yerevan. Husband loves their khinkali, and I always try their Georgian soups--very fresh and delicious. Most importantly it is a very good value. I find other similar restaurants in the city a bit more expensive compared to the Caucasus Tavern. Also, the clientele is mixed--you can see both tourists and locals.

Overcrowded, very smoke-filled, not very clean. Waiters are exhausted in consequence of which service is not the best. Food is regular, can’t say anything bad. Prices are acceptable. Not the best place we visited in Armenia.
