A really great lunch

We had an amazing lunch here after visiting the Citadel. A nice quiet restaurant with some really great food options. We went Vietnamese so cannot say for their French dishes - but we were not disappointed! The Hue noodle soup was the best we've had during our trip! Tender meat and balanced fresh... read more

Average meal. Shrimp was avocado was what it said so can't complain. Springrolls were excellent. Spaghetti Bolognese was not great, edible but not amazing. Great service and very clean

This restaurant is down a lane near the citadel. Off the beaten track and was brought there by the guide. Food was good - not great - and the order was a bit messed up. The building itself is fantastic - an old french villa. Would eat there if near but would not necessarily go hunting to find it.

Clearly a favourite with tour groups and escorted couples, this is nevertheless a lovely restaurant with quietly serene service. Old colonial feel with a lovely Vietnamese menu including Hue specialities. You can even have spaghetti but why would you with so much local choice. Fresh ingredients, cool atmosphere and nice desserts and coffee. Best of Vietnam with a soupcon of... More

The place is beautiful and the deserts (homemade ice cream) are very good. But this restaurant has a huge problem with celiac people. They don't mind and they don't want to know. We asked for the waiter and told her the situation while we were ordering the menu but she didn't know anything about the ingredients. We suggested her to... More

It is a really nice restaurant with very friendly staff and nice food. It is really expensive for Hue and I was expecting something special without success.

A really beautiful place and the food is excellent and beautifully presented. It was a hot night when we were there and there is no aircon but the fans seemed to do the job well enough. I wish I had been hungrier but every dish we had was lovely. Perhaps not the caramelised prawns - sweet prawns may not be... More

Excellent duck and pork dishes, and excellent ice cream. We would have ordered more but we'd pigged out earlier in the day. Despite ordering few dishes, the service was gracious and without pressure to order more. The ambiance is lovely, and a pianist played classical music throughout our visit. What a pleasure!

I had the chicken chilli lemongrass which was divine! The decor was just beautiful and very quiet away from the city centre. The staff were very attentive. The only thing I would say needs improving are the cocktails. They were very strong (which we usually don't mind) but we couldn't finish them. I'd stick to the wine menu! Apart from... More
