What a beauty! This restaurant was clean and tidy and the wait staff were very friendly. The meals that we ordered came quickly to the table and was very tasty. The food was cooked just as we asked and we were very happy with the taste. All of this for $8 AUS. What a little ripper. We will definitely eat... More

Just have the worst duck at this highly rated restaurant. It was chewy and tasteless. Ordered also duck with lemongrass at a restaurant on same street close by (same side of street, towards the Imperial Palace, on next corner), was tasting like real duck and juicy. Was takeout food, easy to compare. Funny thing, restaurant has no eggplant on the... More

We had the set menu about $4 each - 4 couses and as good as anything we've had. The service was good and they also had a good wine. Highly recomended!

First off, I must say that the ladies working at this restaurant are lovely, very friendly and helpful and this review in no way reflects on them! The restaurant itself is casual and comfortable, but the food is very so-so. The portions were small and was really nothing memorable. The best thing we ordered were the very fresh french fries.

I chanced upon this restaurant walking the streets not far from my hotel and gave it a try. Boy, was I glad I did. Although it was not busy or a fancy place, the friendly staff, clean appearance and reasonable prices drew me in. I was not expecting anything beyond the ordinary when I ordered their dinner special, but what... More

We went to L'aubergine for afternoon lunch and were thoroughly impressed with the delightful combination of French and Vietnamese cuisine. The waitresses were really smiley and one of them actually lent us her motorbike to have a quick look round the citadel, so they couldn't have gone out of their way any further. At the end of our meal, we... More

A touch of Paris mixed with Vietnamese defiantly draws inspiration from the French colonial passed. Staff are friendly the design of this little gem reminds me of France 1940s the only down side is service can be slow so don't treat it as a quick meal
