Pretty decor, decent food, inconsistent portions

The title says it all, I guess. We had claypot fish and the portion was miniscule yet delicious. I wouldn't mind paying 50% more for 50% more food. Claypot rice was good, and so was the chicken and banana flower salad (the portion of which was quite large). Service was decent but not very smiley.

Very good , pleasant , modern local restaurant . Staff is very nice . They speak limited English but do their very best to understand you and to explain their dishes . We tried few Hue dishes . We quite liked them. Take a taxi to get there . It is in a residential area quite far from the center... More

I and my boyfriend (from Germany) came to this restaurant as I were looking for a place with decent ambiance (not street or food stall style) that serves authentic Hue food, and not overly complicated and fancy ( I.e. imperial dining style with many courses). All authentic Hue dishes that I ordered ran out (all of them!). They suggested an... More

We were recommended this restaurant by a holidaying Vietnamese family. They said it was true Hue food at good value prices. We over ordered as the portion sizes were very big. We thoroughly enjoyed it although the fried chicken was disappointing. It is slightly out of the centre of Hue so will need a cab to get you there. I... More

One of the most nice restaurants in Hue city with delicious foods and drinks. Reasonable price, good service... just take a little long time for serving. Not to close from the center but easy to reach. Should give it a try. You will like this place for sure

We a group of 7 people went there for lunch. The restaurant looked so impressive with the decor, wood carving and beautiful female staffs worn long sexy traditional dress. All those stuffs really pleased our eyes, unfortunately we went there for our meal and the food was not acceptable; pork stuffed tofu in tomato source was still raw, mango shake... More

Had dinner here two of three nights in Hue. Excellent appetizers generously sized: banh nam, banh beo, and banh loc, all the rice flour specialties with shrimp and pork. Minao, the manager, speaks English well, is gracious and helpful, but the staff only speaks Vietnamese. The menus are in both languages. Elegant decor.

I really wanted to like this place after checking it out online. When I made reservation for late lunch/early dinner at 2pm, I wished the receptionist had given me a heads-up that most of the dishes on the menu would not be available since my meal was not at the usual lunch or dinner time. Well, it was the first... More

The interiour strikes you, it is just beautiful. Wood and mother of pearly. This is well away from the toursit strip, and frequented by local with a bit of money. Wide selection of Hue foods, as well as Vietnamese classics. Food is great, surroundings beautiful, prices are very low, but service might not be the absolutely best. They try hard,... More
