Must try restaurant in Hue

The house of Hue cuisine even it's a vegetarian restaurant. Dishes are cooked in Hue style. I ordered some dishes: mixed steamed Căn which made by soy but decorated like chicken meat, a small hot pot (for 2 people) with tofu, some kinds of mushroom, vegetables and fresh noodle - Bún. The taste was... read more

Doesn't matter if you are a vegetarian or not. Go to this place and I swear you're not going to miss your meat. We've tried the 8 different appetizers (don't know the exact name anymore) and then a large hot pot. Deliciousness all the way. Full and happy without the meat and for a very fair price. Beware: they do... More

Have eaten here twice. The food and prices are both amazing, lots of dishes I've never seen on a menu before and some weird ones, like "fried bumps." (Don't know what those are, because they didn't actually have them.) Two main dishes plus rice and a beer here will cost you about $4-5.

Fantastic food, great service, amazing value. The restaurant is lovely and quiet. Don't be intimidated by the lengthy and confusing menu. Whatever you get well be delicious. Don't miss this one!

Vegetarian or not, you can't go wrong with this gem of a restaurant! As many people have mentioned, make sure to include the fried jackfruit as one of your choices. We had three great dishes, washed down by two large beers for a grand total of 116000 dong. Simply unbelievable! We had no problem with being understood since there were... More

We went thru' great pains to point out the dishes we wanted, but got served something else.. Forget about speaking english, the fact they could not understand sign language and pointing out on the menu card. The food was not to our liking. Was among the worst food we had in Vietnam.

After we had photographed the menu we decided the best policy was to pick a selection of dishes with the most intriguing names so we decided on Fried Bumps, Twelve Predestined Affinity and Dry Northern Noodles. The waiter with limited English explained that the Bumps were off and steered us away from the Predestined Affinity. We took his advice and... More

Delicious vegetarian food in an exceptional atmosphere. I love the fried jackfruit here. If you are a westerner and miss cheese, try the "chao" which is soja cheese.

We can't emphasize our appreciation for this restaurant enough! We went there twice because it was so good. Please do yourself a favor and try the fired vegetarian spring rolls. They were the best I had, ever. The "hot pots" are also very good and in a way very social.

Ordered the mixed food pot, would recommend! And asked them to pick some extra dishes for us, all of it was so tasty and very cheap! Incredible!!
