Had the set dinner, USD16/person. A little expensive but it was good food. Had a personal tour with the host whilst waiting for our food. The restaurant was built 10 years ago surrounding a couple of old Mandarin traditional houses. The hosts tell us that they are usually very busy during the day but it's rather quiet during dinner so... More

The most expensive meal I had in Vietnam. But it is unbelievably good. Just don't take rickshaw to the restaurant. first of all, the rickshaw guy will try to rip you off, and the restaurant is pretty far from the central, and the road there looks really sketchy, so I got pretty scared. That aside, the environment was very good... More

it was a superb experience having dinner in a historic mansion surrounded by greenery. Also was delighted by how every dish was garnished by vegetables which sculptured into legendary creatures like dragon and Phoenix! Service was excellent! will go to its other shop in Hoi an when we go visit Hoi an a few days later!

While visiting Hue our private guide brought us to this restaurant. The food was great and the atmosphere was nice, set in a wonderful building with surrounding tall trees and good landscape. While we were having lunch, the manager, a Frenchman I presume, came around and went straight to a group of French people and talked to them, ignoring the... More

This lovely restaurant is off the beaten track. You access via a very small laneway, and what a sight beholds! Vietnamese lanterns (night dining) in trees make this jungle garden magical. Recommend a table outside in this romantic garden. Traditional Vietnamese cuisine, and a good wine selection, although drinking local beer is much less expensive ($2.00-$3.00). For our cycling group... More

This is certainly a very elegant and classy affair by Hue standards. "Imperial" furnishings, stunning indoor/outdoor dining arrangement and very dedicated, attentive service staff make it a luxurious experience.

Thank you so much for the incredible evening at „Ancient Hue“ and some days later – at „Ancient Faifo“. Thanks also to Tripadvisor for the tip. We went there only because there are many pictures, statements and recalls on the site. Without any idea where to go for dinner and beeing absolutely disappointed by the restaurants around the hotel (too... More

As I already had dinner at Y Thao garden a couple of years ago, I wanted to try this new best address for imperial dinner in Hue. That was a good decision! The menu despite being more than 10 dishes is a perfect composition of well-dosed delicatessen served with a wonderful presentation. Not too much. Not to little. Risking to... More
