We went walking the streets looking for the restaurant, gave up after several attempts. Walk back towards our hotel to see what we could get for breakfast, saw Bloom's Cake Shop, went in and they said the restaurant was now closed and moved to just the cake shop. They do not serve any meals.

We had a really tasty baguette lunch at Bloom. Excellent fresh baguettes with tasty filling and crispy vegetables. Good coffee. Service was good. Pleasent staff. Prices good value. I can without doubt recommend Bloom for breakfast or lunch.

Stopped here and ordered a brownie to go. Wasn't excellent, wasn't terrible. Just average. Can't say anything about menu as I didn't take the time to view

Went twice as chicken fried rice, spring rolls and fresh vegetables with garlic filled us up and was not too spicy but tasty. Helping children without parents , medical care to youths, fighting chid trafficking, provide education to children...all great causes you help by eating here. Met other nice travellers in restaurant. Chocolate ,lemon, almond tarts are delicious. All prices reasonable.... More

I stopped in at Bloom for a quick bite for lunch and ordered a pineapple shake and chicken fried rice. The pineapple shake was really tasty and inexpensive and the fried rice was one of the best I've had, with a nice garnish of sliced cucumber. There was also a generous portion of soya sauce (which can sometimes be an... More

Read about Bloom in the Lonely Planet guidebook and decided to have lunch there to support a good cause. It's an unassuming and simple kind of place, probably better for breakfast or lunch rather than dinner. The coffee and baguette sandwiches are tasty and inexpensive, and the brownies are delicious! The staff was friendly. There is a display on the... More

Perhaps I was there on an off day but this was one of the worst meals I've eaten in Vietnam. I read about it in Lonely Planet so wanted to support the training of disadvantaged youths. I had lemongrass pork (steamed rice is purchased separately) and an iced coffee for 98.000VND. The pork was tough and the "steamed" rice was... More

I went here twice having seen it recommended in Lonely Planet. The food takes a while (up to 15 mins) but was very good both times and for very reasonable prices. Decor is basic but clean and pleasant, and the walls display the restaurant's work that it does for disadvantaged children. Staff make sure you have everything then leave you... More

Went here as read in lonely planet that it was a café for a good cause. However, there was hardly any evidence or info on this. The service was terrible; the girls just sat chatting and on mobile phones. The café was gloomy, dark and uninviting. The food was overpriced and not great. The 'fries' had barely seen the frier-...
