What's not to like about tofu and vegetables and chicken and vegetable stir fry. Good fried spring rolls too. Friendly staff and tasty food at a very reasonable price.

I can't say enough how friendly and easy the staff and owner organized our boat trip up the river to Thien mu and Tu Duc tombs and back again approx 4 hours return trip for our family of 5. Everything was organsied for us in a flash and well priced. For us with 3 children all under 9 this was... More

Across the street from the Imperial Hotel, so easy to find, Mr. Cu's Mandarin Café serves excellent food at moderate prices. The spring rolls are the best I have tried in Vietnam. The owner. Mr. Cu, is an excellent photographer. Examples of his work adorn the walls. Staff speaks decent English.

Beautiful meal at me Cu's restaurant tonight. Spring rolls delicious. Pork lemongrass sticks fantastic. Mr Cu has a wonderful display of original photographs of the local area and people as well!

After reading the numerous reviews and being a photographer myself it was a must to visit the Manadrin cafe whilst in Hue. Food was very good as was the service and Mr Chu was there himself to welcome all patrons. Mr Chu's photos were excellent and an inspiration for myself during my visit. I manage to take numerous photos of... More

A large group of us, in Vietnam for a congress, stopped at this restaurant before visiting the Citadel at Hue. In no time the most amazing, hot breakfast was served. Most of us had the noodle soup with beef, chicken or prawn and a small type of pancake to follow. We admired all the pictures on the wall and were... More

We went to this cafe for dinner and the meal was truly horrible! We tried two dishes, where it was obvious the meat - chicken and duck, had been pre-cooked, the duck being so tough, it was inedible and large chunks of vegetables made both dishes very unappealing. The cafe is untidy, sticky tabletops and staff who looked bored out... More

I have had a couple of visits to Hue and after being introduced to the mandarin Café on the first visit by a guide, have returned several times. tours can organized from here, that usually cover pretty much anything around Hue or around the old DMZ area and down south to DaNang etc. Mr Cu and his family plus staff...
