After travelling around Vietnam for 1.5 weeks, we were very hungry for something different. Ta ke was just what we needed! We ordered 2x Tuna Sashimi, 2x Salmon Sashimi, Sesame Seed California Roll, some Jumbo Roll with a bunch of different fish, Seaweed Salad, Hot Sake, and a Large Water. All of the this came to just above 400,000 VND... More

We chose to eat here based on the excellent reviews in the lonely planet and tripadvisor. We shared several sushi dishes and deep fried pork. All of the dishes were delicious. The total bill (with soft drinks) came to around $15 for 4 dishes which was excellent value for money too. If you fancy some Japanese food whilst in hue... More

There was a cat in the kitchen. He was running around the chef's legs. Then he decides to come into the dining room (must've been hungry - see photo). Make of that what you will. We ordered ramen, pork katsu curry and a few sushi dishes. The ramen was very bland, no fat/oil at the top, it just tasted like... More

Went here with three friends. All ate a variety of dishes. All freshly made, sushi was lovely. Nice place to sit and spend some time. Food came pretty quick too and around the same time (for Asia standards anyway!). Would recommend it for sure!

The sushi was good, as was the beef rice. They forgot to make our tempura, so we had to wait about 10 minutes on that - and it was very greasy. It was cheap for Sushi, but expensive for the area. I wouldn't return, however, there does not seem to be any "great" places to eat in Hue.

I love Japanese food so had to try this place. The teriyaki, noodle and dumplings were excellent and super cheap, especially the beer and deserts. The restaurant has two Tripadvisor accounts, if they were combined I'm certain this would be nearer the top!!

This was the only place I ate (twice) in Hue, and honestly I would have gone back every evening for a week solid. This was some of the best Japanese food I have ever eaten (albeit I've never been to Japan), and at prices that are shockingly low for this cuisine. After eating great Japanese food in the States, and... More

If your are looking for a Japanese fix whilst in Hue, this is the place to go. Small and welcoming, with separate group rooms where you get to take your shoes off and sit on the floor. The food was authentic, serviced quickly and reasonably priced.

Had tenpura, gyoja and some a la carte sushi. It was cost about USD15. I couldn't it is decent JP cuisine, but it was definitely nice place for Japanese in Hue. They also have several private rooms and service was good.

We were the first diners of the night and were reluctantly given the table of our choice, despite the restaurant being completely empty... But despite not the most pleasant start, our food was great. Tasty, served quick and reasonably priced. The portions were generous, too, well maybe with the exception of rice and miso soup - these were miniature :)... More
