Great Food & Ambience

A friend recommended this resto and true enough it was such a delight having dinner here. The food was really good (sorry it was quite awhile already, cant recall the exact names of the food we had) I do remember the lotus salad tho. I really like the ambience. After dinner, we transferred to their... read more

We want here as a group of seven. It is not easy to find, but the restaurant has a great atmosphere. The service was attentive. The spring rolls were delicious. We shared the main courses which were tasty. The only criticism is that the meals were warm rather than hot. The prices were reasonable as the total cost per person... More

We had such a great meal here! All the food was very good and I would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers. We were put off initially because some reviewers said it was pricey so we went elsewhere and we disappointed by the other places. If it is more expensive (which I didnt notice specifically), its worth it. I had... More

We enjoyed a wonderful meal. The menu is very good and the food is lovely. Puddings are a little disappointing, it is best to stick to the ice cream. You get a book of flavours, but the one we really liked was the chilli chocolate.

For a restaurant that appears in every travel book and is ranked that high on Tripadvisor, this was really disappointing. Our food was served so fast that it felt like it was micro-waved, there was no taste (quite an achievement when you talk about vietnamese food) and was really dry. The restaurant in itself is nice but the food isn't... More

We read a great review in an Australian newspaper and were looking forward to our visit. Sorry, but this is wanker central. Over rated, rude staff, expensive in relation to other places we ate at and very noisy. The pork ribs were all bone and gristle and my chicken was raw in places. No one serves me raw chicken! To... This restaurant is a little more expensive than other places but the interior of this colonial building immediately suggests a certain quality. The service was immaculate - all staff spoke very good English. The two dishes we ordered differed somewhat - one was amazing and one we didn't like so much, although the level of cooking seemed very high. The... More

This restaurant's decor is gorgeous, service was inattentive, but food is very good. We ordered the platter as a starter, which was a great way to try a bit of everything, it was all yum! For main, we had the Pork in caramel hotpot and the five spice pork, they were also very more-ish dishes. Good choice for trying Vietnamese... More

Every now an again its time to splash out and if you are in HCM city this is the place to go. It will cost you 80 to 100 dollars which I guarantee will be money well spent. Climb the staicase open the door and you will be transported into the world of the lavish. With soft music playing ,... More

This is another slightly hard to find restaurant on a side street, ...but worth visiting. The atmosphere is soft, warm, and romantic...or for a special business dinner. The staff is very good. The menu is large. The value is fair. The best thing I can say is that I would not hesitate recommending it, and I would be happy to... More
