Average Food for a lot of money

We ate there because of the lonely planet and trip advisor recommendation. We found a nice restaurant with expensive prices .... Unfortunately it was one of the worse Vietnamese food which we have had in our time in Vietnam. Go to the market and have much better food for 1/3 or 1/4 of the price!

We were recommended to this restaurant as it has been there a long time and is known for its comfortable and stylish rooms and well prepared food. We visited it beforehand and chose a lovely table in the window which overlooks the road. All good so far. There were four of us and we chose a bottle of Sauvignon wine... More

Hard to find the door entrance as on First floor. Great location in colonial house. Staff really helpful with menu m actually advised us to order less. Had fresh rolls in mustard leaves followed by a chicken pho soup then bac po pork and pork hotpot! All delicious and fresh.

We went here on the last night of our holiday and to be honest I wish we hadn't bothered. After eating the most amazing food from HCMC to Hoi An to Huy and to Pho Quoc we were so dissapointed in the food here. The restaurant is lovely and we sat at the windows watching the comings and goings on... More

We had the appy platter, mango salad, Peking duck in orange sauce and vegetable curry along with two Temple Club Cocktails and Tiger beer for 1 million VND all in. The food was superb, setting quite enjoyable and service good. This was our best meal in Vietnam, although we didn't try many high end restaurants. I highly recommend this restaurant... More

The Temple Club is named because it was once a guest house for visitors to the Hindu temple which is directly across Ton That Thiep Street, and it is one of our HCMC favourite haunts. The dining rooms, with their exposed brick walls, tiled floors and velvet upholstered seats conjure images of a bygone Saigon. And it’s easy to imagine... More

Like many restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City, the Temple Club is oddly located down a long and narrow corridor lit by lanterns - and then up a winding stairway to the second floor. I don't know how people find these places without good signage, but when you do find Temple Club, you are in for a treat. The stylishly... More

I picked this restaurant from a guide book and although it said it was Vietnamese food it seemed a mix of Chinese and Vietnamese but as I am not an expert diner on either I had to assume it was Vietnamese. Quite a formal place in a lovely building. Never the best to each in a restaurant on your own... More

A friend recommended this resto and true enough it was such a delight having dinner here. The food was really good (sorry it was quite awhile already, cant recall the exact names of the food we had) I do remember the lotus salad tho. I really like the ambience. After dinner, we transferred to their sofa seating for coffee &... More
