Service started slow with us waiting to order drinks but then we ordered. Food turned up at random times throughout the course of the evening whether it was starters or mains. Nevertheless the food was lovely and very enjoyable, not one of us had a bad meal and we had plenty. Service was a little slow but it was a... More

This restaurant as well as catering for western tourists with mediocre Vietnamese cuisine also sold dog meat. If you are interested in how horrific this trade is just google it. Avoid this place if you don't wish to support this practice. There are plenty of other very good alternatives in Saigon.

We stayed in HCM city one week and visit Quan An Ngon twice. The food is good and there are many choices. Almost all the signature Vietnam dishes you could find there. As the ground floor is open air it's still hot with hopeless fan. First time we order spring rolls, fried crab meat roll, BBQ beef/pork skewers and something... More

It is funny how some of us tourists bemoan how expensive the food at Quan An Ngon is but you could definitely find the same stuff cheaper in restaurants for locals but in far less nicer settings like on the side of the road. ‘Quan An Ngon’ is literally translated as “Great Tasting Area” it relocated a few years ago... Four of us visited. Lack of English a problem. Wrong dish brought communication then difficult. Pork loin tough and pork meatballs not as good as in Hue. A lot of green leaf! Hence our disappointment. Cannot get over lack of knapkins then to be charged (I know cheaply) for a wipe! Very noisy.

Met an old friend who works in Ho Chi Minh and he brought me and my wife to this quiet, casual dining place. The restaurant cannot be seen as openly as any normal restaurant since it is located inside an alley. My friend told us he brought us here because this restaurant serves everything fresh as he was concerned with... More

Excellent food. If you are looking for excellent local vietnamese food, this is the place to go. It has a very good local flavour. It is always crowded when I visited the restaurant.

Great services. Most of the items ordered were tasty. My favourite was the spring rolls and the shrimp wrapped in sugar cane.

Restaurant was so crowded. We were seated on the first floor. Nicely decorated. Food was ok but pricey for street food. Servings were small.

Small dishes. Many courses to choose. Vietnamese cuisine. Great sweet for desert. Good if having voucher or member card or special promo for big group.
