Great food

The decor needs a bit more touch and it is noisy and dark. However, the food makes up for it. Great food and the falafel is the best I have ever had. Certainly one of the best in the city.

The restaurant is located in the second floor of a villa. The design is sample. The atmosphere is very nice and warm. Services are amazing. Chief is really helpful in recommending the wine and foods. Foods are stunning. The lamb is juicy and soft. I've a great time here. I will definitely come back sometimes.

The restaurant is on a sidestreet in HCMC, and can seem difficult to get to. But any taxi will know the address. Excellent starters, mains... well it's hard to go wrong. Try the mozarella tower and then the beef tagine. Other favorites are the bourek and shrimps. It's a great break from all the wonderful Vietnamese cuisine in town, which... More

We have been going to Badhja for years since it was at its old location and it has never disappointed! In fact, we love the food here. It's comforting and homey food and you can't go wrong with anything on their menu.

If you've never tried Algerian cuisine this is a great place for your first experience. The tagines are spectacular. I recommend combining one--or two--with some cous cous for a grand meal. There are plenty of wonderful appetizers with which to get started as well. They even have a selection of wines from Africa to sample as a treat! The new... More

We were regular clients of the previous location and today was our first time in the new location. We shared a great meal with our friends and family. Had potato pastilla and falafel for starter, couscous merguez, royal and beef tajine for main, Very tasty, tender meat, savvy broth. Enjoyed a lovely time. Special mention to the owner, very nice... Just had lunch at their new location. Wonderful hummus homemade sauces and dips, and the Lamb was so tender. The service was wonderful and the price very reasonable. I highly recommend them for Lunch or Dinner.

Went here for lunch on a Friday. It was completely empty safe for two backpackers. Service was good, the Vietnamese waitress studies Russian so she speaks English with a great Russian accent. The food was not bad, had the chicken couscous and the portion was huge. Definitely something you could share between 2 people. Parking with a car was quite... More

Those falafels, they are the best I've had! With home-made break and many different dips out of which one was wonderfully spicy...this place has amazing food. Service is great as well, the owner is very attentive to his customers in a positive way. Shows that he cares and is proud of what he does. Thank you!
