Food delight

Arrived at 6pm first impression was we had walked into a Vietnamese Disco, could hear the music outside. Fortunately the Shift Supervisor ( I presume, she was the only one in a yellow shirt) turned the music down to an acceptable background level. The staff were pleasant and we quickly ordered. We dined as a couple at this great little place last night. We reserved a table in advance which is recommended as it looks popular with locals. Complimentary champagne on arrival, a very professional and welcoming French hostess made a great start to the evening. The keyboard player from Holland also adds to the European flavour. Very good wine list... More

We have been traveling Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam and have always switched between local kitchens and more classic kitchens. Le bouchon de Saigon offers by far the best French kitchen across those three countries. Their menu is broad, but not too broad: get your rib eye, tartiflette and crime bruleèe here. Even the bearnaise makes you think of Paris. The... More

This place has the most beautiful home cooked comfort food. After dining at numerous places we wanted something that had the home feel about it. French onion soup fantastic and the duck delicious. Service fantastic and a beautiful place. Wines great and very reasonable prices with huge serves if food

Went here and had a good dinner. It was quaint, romantic, and good food. We enjoyed the free glass of bubbly before ordering. We loved the warm bread. We had a good meal and the piano player, Marc, was excellent. We recommend this restaurant to everyone for an enjoyable dinner.

We had foie gras (patae), escargot and ribeye steak.. All of which were decent but not out of this world. Staff was friendly, setting was cosy but it's not really the French experience

We dined here a few days ago and had a nice experience. The service, ambience, and menu are OK. The portions are rather large by Vietnamese standards and tasty. The quality of the main course food was marginal, but the appetizers were great. We did not try the wine, too expensive,

Duck confit is a must!! It was soft and juicy. And sea bass with risotto is highly recommended. It just costs you under vnd 500000 and you'll get really full!

My family and I chanced upon this place when seeking shelter from the rain after a long excursion. Upon entering, the decor is sleek and charming but unimpressive. After taking a look at the too-finely printed menu (which needs to be improved), we were taken aback by the price! Around the range of 200,000 to 400,000 Dong on avg. This... More

WE have been here before and it is STILL fabulous, it doesn't open until 11.30am but we fell in the door when it opened as we were starving!! inside it looks straight out of central casting French Bouchon red and white checkered table clothes etc.I love it, we started with the freshly shucked French Oysters flow in that day, to...
