Husband & wife - he is a usa chef & comes out to greet diners. Excellent food we enjoyed both visits & happy to learn they are opening a TexMex restaurant in District 1.

Scott and Binh's is a District 7 institution--the buzzing center of expat life in this part of town! My husband and I go there at least twice a week, and we've never had a meal there that was anything less than wonderful. After a long day at work, when you're aching for stick-to-the-bones nourishment, nothing is more soul-satisfying than sliding... More

This is a great restaurant in the quiet streets of Phu My Hung, so there isn't a huge buzz of traffic or street vendors hassling you. The staff are attentive but not intrusive. The food was a little pricey, but once we got it there were no complaints! It is certainly worth what they charge. The ingredients are fresh and... More

This was my second trip out to Scott and Binh's, the first time had been for dinner and this time was for brunch and it was mediocre. The service was pretty bad, we had a young girl come and take our order and it was a painful process where she didn't seem to understand anything we were saying and we... More

This restaurant is in District 7, about 6 kilometers far from District 1 center. Staff: Welcoming and professional, even the woman owning was there to help, so means she loves what she was doing. Atmosphere: Excellent with comfortable chairs, tables are well spaced one each others, so easy to have romantic or professional conversation with another person eating with you.... More

I noticed below that Scott and Binh's got a bit of abuse. Let me tell you something. If you come to Vietnam and expect food identical to back home you will be disappointed. However, what Scott has done is remarkable. He has brought as much of a "home" experience as possible using almost entirely local ingredients. Why has he done... More

Seriously people, this place is ok but excellent is a real stretch. My wife and i had our driver take us there because of all these amazing reviews. We just moved here from North America and were looking for some familiar grub. The menu has a nice variety. We ordered the burgers (beef and chicken) the beef burger was average... More

Located in a rather quiet street in HCMC, this place is not noisy. I came at a strange time, 1630 in the afternoon. The lamb burger was fine, but the "potatoes" that followed reminded of mashed potatoes. I came here because of good reviews in Trip Advisor and as it was close to my hotel. Considering the area, it was... More

Hi Stoylen, thanks for taking the time to rite us a review here on TA. Sorry you didn't enjoy our potato wedges-big cut french fries that are crunchy on the outside and fluffy(like mashed potatoes?) on the inside. Tripadvisor is a popularity contest, as voiced by it's members. Thanks for letting your opinion be known. Peace and Happy eating, Scott... More

Yummy comfort food that you may be missing from your western home country. Your hosts will make you feel very welcome and try their best to prepare your food and drinks just way you like them! A wonderful homely atmosphere and friendly well trained staff. A great night or lunch out.
