Yes, the staff members and the owner are very friendly, which makes the place special. However, even though the portions are big, the dishes have nothing special... I tried the burrito salad with extra beef, that has no seasoning at all. The apple pie has too much cinnamon. Overall, not a bad experience but I wouldn't drive from D1 just... More

No.7 in all HCMC!? Come on TA reviewers... Scott & Binh's is average Western fare with interesting decor (e.g. crushed purple velvet chairs) but a very friendly and accommodating albeit quirky American owner/head chef. Nothing worth traveling out of your way for if visiting HCMC (and it is truly out of the way for tourists) but perhaps something you might... More

Just as we had given up all hope of a Christmas Feast on December.25 in HCM (that wasn't a wildly overpriced buffet) a Christmas Miracle occurred! We read lots of wonderful reviews of Scott&Binh's and decided we would just go for a nice dinner as a condolence to Turkey & Mashed potatoes. As soon as we called, Scott answered and... More

Went for Christmas dinner at Scott & Binh's, and as promised, a big plate of utterly delicious Christmas food was delivered, and it did not disappoint! Scott personally greeted us and had a chat - what a friendly guy! He really knows his food, and the rest of the menu looks stunning too, and there is a beautiful selection of... More

My wife and I got a bit tired of Asian food and S&Bs seemed to offer an alternative. The sushi salad was really good but the two main courses weren't more than decent. I would believe Ameri ans appreciate this cooking more than swedes do. Scott was really nice and friendly though, that makes it a four instead of three.

A hidden little gem in Phu My Hung... hidden but already found by many. I've always experienced good food and service. Montly specials keep things interesting as well.

We took a taxi to get to Scott and Binh's place and it took about 15 minutes. The area is very nice and reasonably quiet though that is not to say there is nothing nearby. You could easy go for a pre-dinner drink or go out afterwards in the neighbourhood as there are many places nearby. We made reservations and... More

As everyone else has said, this was very good. We went for an anniversary dinner, and Scott gave us a complimentary drink each (Thank you Scott) and we enjoyed two delicious and interesting lamb dishes, chosen from a wide-ranging menu. Certainly highly recommended, and I look forward to going back on another occasion that's not a Monday - which unfortunately... More
