The majority of the meat was very tough, almost like rubber. Some of the pieces were borderline inedible. The fish had a horrible taste resembling dirt, and i ended up spitting it out, Sauces were okay, and the fruit was nice, but thats about it. I would avoid this place.

Really enjoyed our food here- though the waitress tends to look after the BBQ for you at your table. Many locals eating here when we went. The menu is extensive- really enjoyed the beef, pork & seafood. Salad is available- help yourself to this .Good value for money.

Tried Sumo BBQ for the second time. My first time i remember it not being good, but my family wanted to eat there. So i went. But this time its very Bad. We ordered every selection of beef, and out of 6-7 types, the best was still of C quality and slightly tender due to that fat. The sad part... More

A huge disappointment. The food was terrible, the beef was served frozen and was very tough. The chicken was full of fat and tasteless. The staff could not speak english, not even a small amount which made things a tad difficult. The cost was 349,000++VN per person and you could order what you wanted, and as much as you wanted.... Like Yen A said, the food was pretty tasteless. The presentation of the meat on the dish was scruffy; some sauce on the edges and cluster of beef placed there. The heat was very weak, making it tiring to wait for the meat. The squid was cut unevenly and a bit too thick. It being a Japanese restaurant, I thought... More

The service was fine but it could be better. The restaurant was clean but i do not think i will come back or... More

There were a good variety of meats, seafood and vegetables. Even my vegetarian friend had different choices. The meats were hard to chew. But one of our friends who had been there before said that the meats were better when he came last time. The prawns were not fresh. We liked the crispy fish and potato salads which we kept... More

I visited there with my family in my husband's birthday. The restaurant is a luxurious one. Food there is delicious and well decorated. However, its price is quite expensive. It is suitable with business party.

We first went to a Sumo BBQ in Hanoi, near Old Town, and loved it. The service there was great, the food was fun and good, and they were very careful to clean the BBQ pits after each party. When we went to Sumo BBQ in Saigon, however, the service left much to be desired. They were out of some... More
