Take it from a New Zealander who's grown up on lamb. Dined with a fellow Kiwi who was also astonished by the poor lamb here (stringy and fatty, old mutton meat). Stick with the pasta.

I had the grilled octopus salad, pea soup and chicken pesto sandwich and all of them were lovely. The sandwich wasn't too exciting but the pesto was very nice. The octopus was perfectly cooked and the greens and veggies with it were very nice. Pea soup was very nice and it's hard to make pea soup too exciting. My friends... More

Amazing italian restaurant close to opera house. Good selection of wine and the food brings to you such good feel. Suggestion: training the employees to speak the restaurant name in italian

Service. Location and ambience was great. Food failed expectations. Not much taste and meetball consistency was like it was premade and froozen. Been there due to great past reviws. Unfortunately they did not deserve these last night.

I have been I Vietnam for 8 days now, and this is by far the best food experience I have had. When you enter they greet you and find you a table suitable for you. I got a table by myself right at the entrance - watching the locals stroll by and hearing the sound of the street is absolutely... More

Great little Italian place near the opera house and many hotels. Owned by an Englishman and staffed by a couple of guys I think are Italian and some friendly locals. Great food friendly service. We ate there three times in five days.

This is a good little restaurant that does really good food, and with good service. Can't ask for much more than that. I opted for the daily specials, but the menu is very interesting and I will certainly be back to sample some more of what's on offer. Starters, mains and two glasses of wine came to $25-30, great value... More

We just LOVED the food. It is really delicious. Find out for yourself, you won't regret it. They also have very good wines.

everything was splendid, over the top on flavour and cheese, just as it should be. high quality ingredients, lots of care shown, however the dirty martini did not sit well, give that a miss. and the legion of grimacing irritated upmarket tourist/expat faces rather ruin the whole experience, so most likely will not be returning. these people are why we... Love the lamb shanks just perfect, nice pizzas too. Excellent wine and great advice on pairing from the owner. Can be a little crowded and it's not that big.
