Better breakfast than elbow room!

After eating dinner here about a hundred times I found out that they also serve breakfast. I can honestly say that I just had the best French toast of my life (and I know good French toast when I taste it). Sorry, Mom; it really was better than yours! The egg frittata was excellent, too. It was... read more

I took my children there twice for lunch, everything was great, from zucchini flowers stuffed with goat cheese, to Nutella creme brûlée or chocolate Marquise! They have a lunch menu, for 210 000 VD you get a salad, main course, coffee and delicious dessert of the day! service was fast and always with a smile: a great place!

We frequently visit Ciao Bella. This is a very nice authentic italian restauarant, upon arrival you are given a glass of Prosecco, all of the dishes we have had here are amazing and the desserts are just perfect, you should go here!

My family and I went to this restaurant after reading the positive reviews here on TA. We were not disappointed. Every dish was so delicious. We had dates with bacon, pasta with duck, salmon with risotto (starters to share), veal cheak, lamb chops (main courses) and finally some profiteroles for dessert. The staff is very kind and attentive. Really perfect... More

A cute little restaurant with yummy food. They too have a lunch time combo during the week. Will definitely go back.

We are Americans living in rural southern China. We have been visiting HCMC for years as a wonderful break from China, to stock our pantry with western foods and just eat well! Ciao Bella is a great Italian restaurant - as my Italian wife always attests. It is a guaranteed stop every time we visit HCMC. Not expensive by western... More

The fact that Ciao Bella ranks high on tripadvisor is a mystery to me. The restaurant itself is pretty small and cramped, the menu is pricey and the dishes do not deliver. For an italian restaurant I find it embarrassing that they only have 1 pasta dish featuring fresh pasta. Furthermore, they refer to their sauces f.ex. "pink sauce" -... More

Hi Easy, Sorry you didn't find Ciao Bella to your liking. We are an American Italian restaurant. Pink sauce (sometimes called Vodka sauce) features on 90% of Italian restaurants in NYC and it IS tomato with a touch of cream and vodka We ONLY use fresh mushrooms not canned, so don't slur us on that. I would be pleased for... More

Really good food in a cosy atmosphere! Try the gnocchi - it was inspired. The staff were friendly and the price is most reasonable.

What a gem and a relief to find some delicious Italian food in Asia. As a gal who doesn't get to have western food often (I live in China), this place is a lovely oasis. The staff is friendly; I was given a free jasmine flower bracelet and free glass of prosecco along with my meal. The tagliatelle was so... More

Ciao Bella is one of several restaurants owned by the same person. Portofino just two doors down is also same owner and is also great. the two are slightly different style and menu. Both are excellent. I was skeptical at first because i was told Ciao Bella is the bet Italian restaurant in HCMC. you know that can only be... More
