What an amazing experience! Why would you want to eat anywhere else?

Yes it is a training restaurant, however mixing up multiple orders, missing my main completely (after 2 reminders) then missing my partners dessert was pretty poor. Then trying to charge me for items I never got. enough was enough. Some other group members had a good experience

Most of the meals range $6-12 but the presentation is beautiful and most in my group seemed happy with taste. menu is quite expensive when you're on a budget. the serves are small, but the peanut butter ice cream was amazing. while the setting is lovely, the huge balcony doesn't offer much of a view of anything. but we went... The restaurant is run by students of an Australia-based NGO that seeks to help poor and orphaned youth and take them off the streets by giving them a culinary education. The school is in Hanoi but graduates of the school can work in their Saigon branch. The food is excellent and gives you a taste of classic and fusion Vietnamese... More

Excellent fusion food in a very nice restaurant with attentive service. I really like the concept of KOTO (know one, teach one) to train kids from disadvantaged backgrounds in the catering industry. Notwithstanding the concept behind the restaurant it is a good restaurant in its own right. I particularly liked the lemongrass stuffed with beef.

The idea is great and the fact that it works is even better. There was 4 of us having lunch at Koto because the tour we were on takes you there. No complaints form me. I was skeptical but no need to be. The food was great. We all enjoyed it and would be happy to return. Next time will... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our tour guide who had got it from a Vietnamese friend. Fortunately he gave us good directions or we never would have found it. However I believe it is moving to the continental hotel so it should be easier to find. It is run as a charity training disadvantages young people. The food is... More

KOTO at Kumho Link in Saigon is an established restaurant in a great new location. A social enterprise that trains disadvantaged young Vietnamese in hospitality and cooking skills. But don't eat here just because of that...the food is fantastic! A Vietmamese fusion menu that should satisfy all. I had the best rice paper rolls ever! And I have been to... More

Lunch at the KOTO training restaurant in the Kumho Link building in Saigon was as perfect a meal as I had in 2 weeks travelling in Vietnam. The rice paper rolls, the fish on sugar cane skewers and the papaya salad (as well as cocktails) were simply delicious.

I went here with a tour group of 10 of us, that were finishing our trip in Vietnam. It had a great menu, and the food was awesome. Some things were forgotten at service, but all was okay, because we all realised that these young people were learning their trade. Professional, clean, the toilets were so clean too. Great food,...
