Good food, good service, good location (le loi branch)

Pros - food may seem pricey but portion size is ample, enough for 2 in some cases! - le loi location is nicer in my opinion. Quieter, bigger space, not mixed in with the retail on the 1st floor - waiters are good, have basic English skills, and quite attentive Cons - kitchen closes at 9pm... read more

My sister was excited to go here for breakfast so I went along as the setting of the restaurant is pretty however the menu choice is extremely limited for someone who is lactose intolerant. I let the waitress know of my intolerance before ordering but when my Vietnamese pork baguette arrived it had potatoes which were covered in butter but... More

I stumbled across this cafe by accident. Hidden on the 2rd floor is this hidden classy cafe. And for a moment, I forgot I was in Vietnam. This place is so classy and I decided to stayed for an hour while reading on my Kindle. Their passion fruit drink is awesome too. Came back once more with a friend after... More

A good mix of Vietnamese , French and Western food from and Aussie Chef . Rustic décor on the second floor of an old cotton store/warehouse .

This cafe was on the top of my to visit list, however it was so bad because it was overcrowded in the afternoon, the crowd was horrid because it's near the old market and naturally people started to stream in. Not a good place for a talk either and it's really sad that I couldn't taste the food either

Don't be fooled when you walk in. It should be a fun little store with more exclusive souvenirs. Walk up the stairs and you'll find the restaurant. The establishment has a great, modern and industrial look. And everything is priced as you might expect. A bit above normal in Vietnam. But be honest, Ho Chi Minh City is quite a... More

We stumbled upon L'Usine by chance - it is hidden away down a corridor and up some stairs, which makes it feel quite exclusive and exciting. We were extremely impressed with the trendy interior and attention to detail in the restaurant and and shop. While it is hard to believe you are still in Vietnam (everything is in English and... I go regularly for weekend brunch. Everything I've eaten has been delicious, made with quality ingredients, and reasonably priced. Coffee is nice. They have a 5-7 buy 1 get 1 on wine (maybe other drinks too?). Very cool shop with imported and local items. Certainly not priced for the average local (or me), but worth a look.
