There are a number of Indian restaurants around District 1 but this one is a stand out. I am happy to recommend it to travelers looking for a quality meal from a kitchen with high food standards.

It took two tries to go here. First time there where some construction/ renovation going on, but they said the place would be open on the next day again. I didn't made it on the next day, but on the second. I came around 8:30pm, and the place was packed. I found on last table upstairs. I ordered a Café... More

One of my top 3 favorite places to eat. Great service backed up with great tasting Indian food. Tip *** The Tikka Paneer cheese dish makes a great accompaniment.

We ate there the other night and it was great Indian food. We all ordered different things and we all loved our meals. Our waiter was very friendly and made sure he got our level of spicy ness down before ordering the food. The prices are a bit high for Vietnam but equal to all the other tourist restaurants in... We kept coming back to Babas (3 times), with it's excellent food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. We tried several different dishes and each were perfectly spiced and portions generous. We would return again in a heartbeat.

I had heard good things about Baba's so I decided to give it a try. My friend and I had the Butter Chicken and Mattar Paneer curries with garlic naan. We chose the Mattar Paneer because the menu states, "It sounds simple, but through some sort of nuclear-quantum magic this combination becomes one of the most delicious vegetarian dishes you... More

Tough choice between this and mumtaz but if you like Indian food give them both a go !! You will be disappointed , reminded me of the curry mile in Manchester from years gone by when you you could eat and drink for very little !!

We have eaten there twice, making a point to spend our last meal in Viet Nam there. It is a great Indian place for my taste, not having actually traveled to India to know what is truly authentic. The service is great, and since the area is very small the tables are quite close together. However, both times we had... More
