This place was packed when we went so get there early or be prepared to wait. The food was good and the staff were very helpful and attentive. I would have loved to have been able to go there a second time!

As above says, nicest, tastiest Indian food in along time,& I do enjoy a good curry. Service was good, even though it was very busy, food tasty,& I thought the price was very good considering what we had, surroundings can be alittle noisy as it is on Bui Vien street, but dont let that put you off trying.

We were wandering along the backpacker streets looking for somewhere different to celebrate my husbands birthday dinner. We'd had coffee at Donkeys in the morning and noticed a nice looking restaurant balcony across the street but hadn't taken notice of the restaurant's name. Well, we know now it's Babas, an authentic Indian restaurant. The food was great and the service... More

Service is great (Mihir and Lalsha were awesome!) and the food is even better. Love this place, will definitely be coming back.

We LOVE this Indian restaurant! Not only that it offers one of the most authentic indian cuisines in town, it is also value for money if you choose to have their buffet lunch! Their naan bread is for sure something to die for! Especially loving their garlic and butter naan! Even the plain naan is good to match with Tandoori... More

I usually pass when it comes to Indian food. Not that I can recall a bad experience, but I just don't choose Indian food when deciding on a restaurant choice. This meal may just put Indian on my food radar! At least if I can find a restaurant this good at home. Great Babas salad, garlic naan bread and a... More

A good place to eat an ethnic meal in HCM. It has good, but not exceptional, Indian food, and the price is certainly right, so overall a good value. An enjoyable experience.
