Not what I expected...

Before this experience I was convinced that being vegan meant you could read minds, talk to animals and complete a number of otherwise impossible magic tricks. Good vegan or vegetarian restaurant are not as easy to find as we might think in Vietnam. This one was a very good find in District 1. The food was fresh, healthy and tasty. Try the seaweed soup, the curries and the fresh juices.

I think I probably had the best vegan meal of my life as vegetarian since 1 year and half. Affordable menu with a lot of choices. Friendly staff.

It seems that they have 2 restaurants in the city. This is a review about Saigon Vegan in District 1 (240 Bui Vien. Str.). I was so happy when I found this place in Saigon. The food was delicious, their juices were fresh without sugar with nice fruits and vegetable combinations. Fresh spring rolls with vegetables were delicious ! The... More

We were lucky enough to stumble upon this restaurant. The food is reasonably priced, the portions are great (although we were ordering extra rice because we eat like mammoths) and the quality of the food is great. Truly vegan food! They offer free iced tea and the staff are very friendly. We went to Saigon Vegan every day we were... More

The spring rolls were good and at 9,000 vnd each a good value. Service can be hit or miss depending on when you are there. A few tables downstairs and a few tables upstairs.

While in Saigon we ate here a number of times - very good food and always friendly and quick service. We wanted to take a cooking class and out of interest we asked the owner if would teach us how to do some of the dishes. He not only said yes, but took us to the local market to buy... More
