Bon Appétit, everyone

We came back to Saigon after 8 month, for a mini-sojourn between 31st of Jan and 3rd of Feb and with this occasion we have re-visited the Coffee shop "Une journee a Paris". This time we have been welcomed by the owner, which in the same best manner as his wife last year, helped us to make the best choices for... More

VERY close to the big tourist Ben Thanh market, almost too close. It is nice to hear Parisien French spoken and have a nice salad or sandwich. Or pastry. Or anything else on the menu. You will receive a very warm welcome if you have any French at all and the brioche is splendid.

Tidy little patisserie / cafe with good menu and very pleasant staff. You pay for the French menu but worth the indulgence. Only gripe is the owner/ manager; his grumpy demeanour and way he engages with the waitresses adds an unwelcome stress to the cafe.

My third visit to Ho Chi Minh in the last 12 months and all I can do is repeat my previous comments below. The place to go in Ho Chi Mihn for French pastries, 6 days in the city and six visits to this wonderful cafe. My wife claims they have the best almond croissant in the world, now this... More

A little french cafe in the heart of Ho Chi Minh serving french croissant and baguette. A few minutes away from Ben Tahn market. If you get the opportunity say hello to the owner, Fabrice, a friendly and dashing person ( who looks a lot like a younger Al Pacino .

An absolutely authentic French bakery in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City - the owner himself is French! Passed by this little bakery on the way back to my hotel near Ben Thanh market. Out of curiosity, I stepped in to check it out and I was very impressed by the selection; from breads to cakes to jars of... More
