Recommended to this restaurant by a work colleague so glad we went. Was ready to order 2 mains when our waiter told us the seafood hot pot was a large meal and more than enough for two. It was absolutely beautiful with fresh fish, prawns, calamari and cockles plus vegetables and noodles. The waitress did all the cooking and preparing... More

I am becoming a regular customer, due to the fact that the food is great, service is good and to top it all off, everything is reasonably priced. It is always a good sign to find a full restaurant that is full. Here it is not only full but has a fairly even mix of local and foreigners. I have... More

Excellent food at reasonable prices, although service was patchy. Instead of a centrally located kitchen, there are 'stalls' around the outside, with each specialising in cooking certain types of food. The result is that the menu offers great range, whilst at the same time maintaining quality. The flip-side is that the waiting staff are clearly given a harder time, having... More

Very busy restaurant in central HCM. Sat outdoors undercover after a short wait for a table. Service quick and friendly and offered advice where we needed. Mainly local Vietnamese dishes so best to order a variety and try something new. All dishes arrived quickly and very enjoyable. Good value for money as well with a buzzy atmosphere.

Excellent location (5 minute walk from central HCM district 1), atmosphere, cost and food. Basically a street food market run as a restaurant with a menu and huge selection. We found it late, but ate our last three meals here. If your unsure the staff will show you aroounfd all the hawker style kitchens which are around tthe outside of... More

I stayed in District 1 so this pace was a short walk from the hotel. A great place to try a variety of Vietnamese food because they have an extensive menu. Prices are cheap and the place is clean. Like most restaurants in Vietnam it is inside a building but is not enclosed so if you go during the hot... More

My partner and I went here to eat twice while we were in Saigon - once for dinner, once for lunch. It was close to where we were staying at the Rex Hotel. The restaurant isn't bad at all, but it's not great either. Just be careful ordering. They have a massive menu with lots of options. Take your time... More

We visited here twice during our stay in Saigon, the food was delicious, very authentic, speedy service, pleasant, can walk around and watch everything being prepared. We had sugar cane prawn roll ups and chilli salt BBQ prawns (12 king prawns), 2 beers and a bottle of water for AU$17.

We have been here twice now and plan to go a further time. It is our "happy place" and the best restaurant we have been to in Ho Chi Minh City. Amazing range, great setting and the flavours and smells are really amazing. The smells in particular! The Salt Crab is the best. The service is a little bit lacklustre... More
