Came here on the recommendation of the lonely planet guide book and found the food to be good, but not great. The menu was extensive and it may help to get some recommendations from the staff who speak English. The spring rolls and chicken skewers were fantastic, some of our other choices not so much. Prices are good and the... More

We were recommended this restaurant by one of the staff in our hotel, where you get more traditional Vietnamese food than the area we were staying in,& overall it was pretty good. The restaurant was busy, which to me is always a good sign, food was good, service ok,prices reasonable,& quite nice surroundings in a sort of colonial style building, quite noisy at times from... More

Returned several times during visit to Vietnam. Menu provides a very good sampling of typical Vietnamese dishes, smoothies, and desserts. The location is very convenient and service prompt and quite helpful. Ate here with large and small groups. Atmosphere is sort of French Colonial and my only observation is that the place is quite loud and very vibrant. I found... More

We ate here three out our four night stay. The food is Vietnamese and the waiters will advise you on what to order then come to your table to show you how to eat it. The building is amazing and the atmosphere is great. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of our waiter because he was lovely and charming and... More

I heard that the restaurant moved to Pasteur instead of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia. It's such a long time I didnt visit this restaurant again. Today, I invited my whole family to have lunch here but they gave us a very bad experience. The service is very bad. How come a well known restaurant and they serve for many tourist... More

Very good, typical Vietnamese tasty. Very rich of dishes, with a lot variances and tasty. Service is nice, people are friendly and very kindly to serve you and realize what you want. All dishes are served following classical Vietnamese style. Atmosphere is the classical French colonial style, remember something about French villa inside "Apocalypse Now Redux" movie. Need to try... More

This place was written up so highly in many travel books and such but we left feeling a little disappointed. The food wasn't all that great. It was actually below average compared to much of the Vietnamese cuisine we have tried over our trip. Maybe it depends on what you order but I would not go back.

There are so many restaurants in HCMC and menus vary and each choice varies that it is amazing how one good meal or one mediocre one can form a super or sorry rating. I had walked past this restaurant many times thinking it was too upscale to worry about, however Sunday after the 9:30 english mass at Notre Dame I... More

Had dinner there. The restaurant itself is lively, old-Saigon feel. It was packed with locals and tourists alike and I can see why. The menu is extensive ... ask your server to recommend a few dishes to try. The service was super-efficient. And the food was excellent and very reasonably priced.

Gorgeous outdoor seating. Walk around the perimeter and look and choose what you'd like. The staff mark it on your order form. back at your table give to the waiter. Sooooo much awesome food. This restaurant was in walking distance from our hotel in district 1- you should try it.
