They cook right in front of you!

It was amazing to see the people cook right in front of you. I was a little disturbed to see shrimp grilled alive in front of you. But other than that the food was good, particularly the beef with lemongrass.

Be in no doubt. Quan Nuong is the BOMB. I have been to Ho Chi Minh three times and always manage to seek out this place for a delicious first night in this crazy town. The first time I visited local business people took me there and commenced a shot competition that I could not win. Have the prawns, have... More

The 3T offers a reap special BBQ experience. Hosted in a rooftop and crowded with locals and tourists alike, the restaurants offers a broad variety of seafood and meat which must be grilled on small BBQ's in the middle of the table. I cannot agree with the other critics about the insufficient size of the portions. The staff is even... More

We arrived here about an hour and a half before it was due to close, we thought this would be more than enough time and if they were happy this with amount of time, so were we. We ordered food but were initially given little to no help with respect to who was doing the BBQing, was it the staff... More

Great dining experience with a twist. We booked a seat on recommendation and we were not disappointed. The place was packed with locals, expats and travellers. The atmosphere relaxed and friendly and the staff attentive, although often rushed off their feet. The experience was very different and enjoyable (after asking how it all worked) with a DIY BBQ at the... More

Quan Nuong, one floor up from Temple Cafe, was an excellent experience. The tabletop BBQ that you cook fresh food on was so much fun! We ordered prawns that were so fresh they were still alive, beef and chicken, plus piles of veggie skewers for me (vegetarian). Wash it all down with icy Saigon Red beer and what an incredible... This is a great place for doing some own bbq. Every table has a round gas bbq in the middle. You just order what you want to bbq and then go for it. But be aware that if you order something alive, like prawns, they are alive when arriving to your table. If you feel uncomfortable with this, like we... More

Just ate dinner here with our 3 kids. We eat early so got a table and am sure the atmosphere would be better had we not been the only table! Quick and easy, for our kids the concept of cooking at the table was interesting. We paid double of what we have been paying elsewhere for dinner previous few nights... More

when we arrived around 9.30pm, we were told we had to pay our bill in an hour and the restaurant closed in in an hour and thirty mins. We thought this fine and enough time for a fun little barbecue. The food was nice but staff did not leave us alone and kept putting all our food on the barbecue... More
