The menu include both traditional plates such as canh cua rau day (northern dish) as well as some original creation like the simmered shrimp with carambola (a.k.a. star fruit). The acidity of the carambola was a nice counterpoint to the sweetness of the sauce. First floor seating tends to be quieter. Food arrived quickly. We arrived early and did not... More

We were recommended to visit this traditional Vietnamese restaurant by several people and were told the it wasn't the Pitts and we'd experience something extremely Jolie. Yes we now know why the famous couple visit there, it is unique from the moment you arrive to the moment you finish your meal. Surrounds, service, recommendations and ambience buzzes and the food... My wife and I went here for a dinner due to some local friends references. We enjoyed a lot the food, the service, and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The menu is very extensive but we trusted the "specials of the day". It was the right choice. And it was not just the food: an unusual layout in HCMC, a... More

The design of the restaurant is very retro, vintage. We ordered the following items. 1. Brown Rice - 40,000 dong 2. Homemade tofu in clay pot - 90,000 dong - the sauce is quite salty even when eaten with the rice. 3. Squid with tamarind sauce - 95,000 dong - delicious . must order. 4. Zucchini flower - 80,000 dong... More

We went here for dinner with a group of five people and loved the food, the service and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The menu is extensive but we loved all our dishes, particularly the soft shell crab. Would 100% return!

Really unusual layout in a beautiful, quirky architects house. You could be seated inside a brass bed frame in the eves or by an old sewing machine in the parlour. The whole building is a talking point and for us the food matched up to that. The menu is extensive, the waiters helpful in answering questions about it or to... More

A massive menu with so much variety. We arrived with a large group and couldn't decide what to order so the wait staff recommend we order a set menu, we decided on an amount we wanted to pay and they brought their recommendations and WOW! AMAZING, the passions fruit sea bass was my favourite. Service was fast and friendly.

We came here on our last night and it was amazing. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. We had the passion fruit fish, fried lemon grass tofu, egg plant and tamarind sauce squid. A great variation of flavours and would highly recommend anyone travelling to Ho Chi Minh visit here at least once.

Bring a map for the driver and go to this place to enjoy a relaxing lunch or dinner which feels pretty much half home, home countryside. The food is great and so is the watermelon juice if you love that.
