Well i have been visiting Bernie's for over a year now. I make it my first port of call and my last whenever i am in HCMC. The Pub is an export of true Irish authenticity for all cultures to enjoy. There are a mix of regular patrons English, Australian, Kiwi's, American, Japanese, Korean, Indian etc. that frequent the Pub... More

I went for a look at this bar because while in South East Asia, of the few Irish Bars I had cast me eye over, I was disappointed how most of them resembled nothing Irish. They all seemed to be dives where people give themselves an excuse for dealing with their problems by drinking lots of alcohol. This place didn't... More

Had a couple of beers here one night. The place is quite big and has a real 'pub' feel to it. I was impressed how they had invested in the 'Irish' theme and had a lot of genuine Irish beers and whiskeys for sale. We paid 50,000VND for a beer, which although is quite expensive for HCMC is about right... More

After a week of Vietnamese food, we were pining for some basic European food. Great location, great atmosphere, and friendly service. The owner, who is an ex Brit/Aussie even introduced himself and asked how the service was. Music and sports, great beer and food, what more could a man ask for.

Ducked in here when rain kicked up. Great pub atmosphere and cold beer. Staff were friendly, and enjoyed a break from crazy Saigon streets.

We went to Bernies Irish pub in hopes of enjoying lunch. The pub was recommended by several people, but having decided to eat there was the biggest mistake of our vacation. The prices themselves were already high enough but what really annoyed us is the secretly hidden rip off. If you quickly have a gaze on the menu, you realise... More

Came here as we needed to go to the obligatory Irish bar. Drink was cold and the food was good. Had the burger which was huge and tasted good. The missus had a chicken crêpe which was a bit too sweet. Service was very good and a decent place for some good old fashioned pub grub.
