We loved Indochine. We sat outside and the outside had. Amazing trees with lanterns, absolutely gorgeous! There was a classical band playing which added to the atmosphere. The food was amazing. We especially loved the presentation of pineapple shells with tea light candle inside and spring rolls sticking out of it. We will return to the Indochine again and highly... More

would highly recommend this place to eat. It is just around the corner from the war museum. Food is immaculately presented tastes divine and service excellent. The atmosphere setting is also a welcome relief from the chaos of the streets of ho chi min..

It's a lovely setting here - especially out in the garden with the old car, the tree, the lights, the live music, but unfortunately the food doesn't live up to the hype. The food is ok and there's nothing really wrong with it, but it's pretty uninteresting Vietnamese food that you could get in any old Vietnamese restaurant back in... More

We visited this restaurant as part of a large group, eating the set menu. The service was good, but we weren't impressed with the food. It was not particularly appetising, and the shared portions small. This was our first night in Vietnam (in a two week stay). We were concerned that this was what we had to look forward to.... More

dont bother going. very westernised vietnamese food, minimal quantity, poor quality, and the service is near non-existent. A lot better food places around.

We went here as part of a tour group. Food was good and the restaurant had great atmosphere. Staff we attentive and happy to assist with anything. There appeared to be mainly tour groups here .

Dinner at Indochine is a treat when visiting Saigon (yes, that's the name on the railroad station and on your airline baggage ticket). The dishes are exquisite and there is a terrific selection of wines (mostly from France and notoriously expensive because of taxes). If you can afford it, Indochine is a must-do.

It is reviewed in every single Travel Guide. More hype and it will implode. Maybe we went on an off day for them but it was the worst restaurant with the worst staff we visited in Vietnam only second to a really awful joint in Da Nang. The staff were unhelpful and very unfriendly and the food was average. Great... More

Indochine was nice. They really cater to the tourists (when were were there, there were long tables in the courtyard with European tourists) but we had just had a big day and didn't feel in the mood to deal with anyone in broken English or do the menu guessing game, so this place fit (but normally it wouldn't) We were... We had dinner here. The food was good and the ambience is very pleasant, with live music. Service was okay. Price of drinks are a bit higher than many places in Vietnam, but much cheaper than in Australia. Vietnam is the 40th country that we have visited over the years, so we have eaten in many restaurants in 40 countries.... More
