Our best food experience in Vietnam

We stopped in on recommendation of a friend and reviews here. You can tell the staff have been well trained as aside from smiling and welcoming, I had some Vietnamese language skills taught to me too! I love the option of a medium or large main course as I was starving and wanted to share with my... read more

We had the fresh spring rolls with pork and shrimp (4 for 112000 dong), purple yam soup (68000 dong for 2 ppl) and pork with boiled eggs (108000 dong). The last dish was our favourite. But the dishes were overpriced by Asian standards. If you want decently priced Vietnamese food, you may be better off going to Secret Garden on... More

A great find. My wife and I enjoyed this place. Excellent service, excellent food but the serves are a little on the small side. There are small and large serve sizes but the staff should have altered us to the fact that small would be ok for one person. Reasonable value for money. I would have rated this place a... More

we ordered two dinner sets. the food is average , as well as the waitress. lots of Japanese people eating here, so the menu has the Japanese on it. eggplant not good; lemongrass chicken, ok!; the final purple congee is annoying, don't know what's that and a very unreasonable food!! not worth coming back!

We decided to go to Huong Lai after reading lots of positive reviews on TripAdvisor. We went for the set menu and between us were able to try most of the dishes on offer. The food was good quality and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in Saigon.

We had heard about the place and its story and we happened to be near by. What a great lunch! Staff is very friendly and helpful. We went for the set menu for two and this was very tasty and nd just about one needs for lunch in term of quantity. Quick service. As other have said previously, the place... More

We heard so much about this place and with what they do to help train under privileged kids in the art of fine dining is fantastic, so this was a must the food was excellent and the staff were so friendly. If you are thinking of going make sure you book ahead of time, as the dining area is very... More

Our group of three dined here recently. We ordered 3 dishes to share and were expecting a high standard as we had eaten here on a previous trip. The yellow noodles with pork was good but we have eaten better from street stalls. The fried rice with chicken in claypot sounded great but was rather bland. The best dish by... More
