Went on a business lunch and we were seated in the private room which also hosted George Bush, and John Howard some years ago. Excellent setting followed by a multi course meal mainly of Hue cuisine. This consisted of 4 types of spring rolls, none fried, and each with a distinctive taste and separate sauce. Then we had a fish...

Situated at the end of a small, quaint alleyway off Hai Bai Trung Street, this restaurant is well worth a visit for those seeking Vietnamese charm and the culinary enjoyment of solid, local cuisine. Service is attentive, with a smile, the lady waitresses being dressed in the traditional "Au Dai".
Had dinner at Tib on my last night in HCMC with a friend. Having tried various recommended places and having been disappointed by hyped up places claiming "modern Vietnamese" cuisine, I decided to go for true blue local food. We had great expectations about this place as our guidebook was very enthusiastic. The place is still trying to be grand, but it has seen better days. The food is good and they have a very nice selection of wines, but it comes across as a bit sad.
We have been visiting this restaurant for over 15 years and still go back when we want to Hue food and/or take visitors out. Good food, good service, nice ambiance. Not all food is top notch depending on your taste but we recommend the rice soup, Banh Beo, fried springrolls and above all our favorite the jackfruit salade!
Expensive and inconsistent. Better to go to the sister restaurant "Trinh" on Pham Ngoc Thach. The place seems to stake its credibility on the fact that it once served President George W. Bush. A dubious distinction at best.
It is not an authentic Hue restaurant, there is more choice if you want true Hue food! More tasty and cheaper! I think this restaurant is only make for foreigner! Good atmosphere and old design... Only few choice for Hue food! No "Bun Bo Hue" in Hue restaurant! Holy @!#t!
We order 5 courses, and surprise! A worm in the...
