After 10 days traveling throughout Vietnam we were thrilled to dine at Pomodoro. Luckily it was a block from our hotel and ranked well on tripadvisor. We loved our meal. Fresh crisp salad, perfect pasta. Service was wonderful and attentive. We needed a box lunch for our next day of traveling and the manager had sandwiches made up for us.... More

Being an aficionado of Italian cuisine I always tend to enter Italian restaurants even when there's a lot of Vietnamese food to chose from. This one turned out to be a good choice. The garden salad, chicken in Parmesan, and wine were good. I liked the interior made of bricks (possibly those French bricks that are so popular in this... More

We ended up here more or less randomly, looking for a restaurant with available tables on New Years Eve. The pizza was very good, thin crusted and they had a number of different pizzapies to choose from. For dessert some delisious gelato. Service was just OK, somewhat unattentive, but this seems the be typical in Vietnam. We found the meal... More

The whole family liked this place (and that's rare anywhere). Great, standard Italian food right in the middle of HCMC. If you're craving pasta and all that - here you go!

If you are looking for authentic Italian food then this place is a must. The food is great, servings are generous and pricing reasonable. I loved the ceaser salad and the minestrone soup.

We sat here for lunch as it was close to our hotel, we ordered the mushroom and ham pizza as an appetizer, and the spaghetti bolognese and lasagna for entree. The pizza was quite good and we both agreed that the crust and pizza were enjoyable. The main courses weren't as good - the pasta was slightly over cooked and... More

We came here on default after our first choice was closed however we were not disappointed. Warmed crusty bread delivered to the table once we were seated. They have spent quite some dollars turning the room into something resembling a restaurant you'd find in Italy. Staff were efficient and friendly. Make sure you ask for the homemade pastas if ordering... More

After 10 days travelling in Asia we stopped at the pomodoro restaurant. We had a great carpaccio and beautiful hand Made gnocchi With cheese. The atmosphere is warm and the wine list rich. Carmine litteraly saved our lives! Strongly reccomended to all visitors willing to enjoy a great italian dinner!! Thank u Carlotta & Paolo

This is our third trip to Vietnam and each time we have dined at the Pomodoro. The first time was in 2011 and the restaurant had just opened. The owner was friendly and really showed genuine interest in our trip and gave us some helpful tips on the city. The food was fantastic as well. When we returned to Ho... More
