Ate hear after hearing good reviews and working for a not for profit organisation myself. The food was brilliant, highly recommend the rice paper rolls, banana blossom salad and stir fried duck. The staff were so lovely and polite. Very happy to be able to support the Koto organisation. Very impressed!

This place is amazing! After eating in some very overrated touristy restaurants in hanoi we tried koto as a friend recommended it. I can honestly say the food was the best weve had in vietnam. The staff were excellent (very friendly and helpful) and the dishes are authentic and tasty. Get a cab from central vietnam to this place and... More

We liked the idea of the restaurant and so popped in for a late dinner. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. The food was very good. My five spice duck on mushrooms/potatoes was one of the best meals I've had in Vietnam. The atmosphere was lovely without being too loud or intrusive. We had a great evening-... More

We visited this restaurant by accident as it is just around the corner from the Temple of Literature. If what the proprietors of this restaurant does what it says they do, then great. But otherwise the food here is really delicious so it's definitely worth a visit anyway. It's a bit pricier than what we had been used to in... More

We were taken to this restaurant by our guide prior to our train trip to Sapa. Thinking that it would be something quick and easy to get us through the long overnight journey, this was a pleasant surprise. We had multiple Vietnamese courses and everything was so tasty. The meat was tender and service was spot on. The restaurant also... More

We had a wonderful evening at koto. The service was second to none, and the food was tasty with the following exception of my duck which was quite fatty and chewy. I would definitely recommend the desserts, we had the matcha cake which was the best sweet I've had in Vietnam. Definitely worth a visit!

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant. The first time was in July 2013 as part of an organised tour group and we all thought the food was wonderful and the service excellent. I am now back in Vietnam with my husband and I wanted to return again. We went there for dinner and had the... More

One of us had Vietnamese food and the other Western - both were tasty. Service was slow butt with a warm smile, and they were very busy!

We went to Koto because it was a hospitality training institute set up by an Australian to help street kids. My husband has a hospitality training background so this was must do for us. The food was great and the kids were fabulous. We sat on a long fusion bench and ate a leisurely lunch before heading out to the... More

Loved this place. I would hands down say this was the best food we ate in Vietnam. There is a good choice on the menu and the servings are very generous. All the staff were lovely and the food was out quick. We only had a quick lunch there and I wish we had time to go back for dinner!
