We visited this restaurant twice. The first time we are the banana dessert and the second time we had lunch. The food was very flavorful. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The waitress even showed us a travel book and recommended some sites for us to visit. Price was not expensive at all. The restaurant is clean and we... More

Neither great or terrible - a good restaurant with helpful staff, although a little slow at times. Food menu extensive although a number of items not available. Upstairs seating pleasant and aircon available. Food was good but nothing exceptional following some amazing meals here in Vietnam.

Our hotel is also on Ma May, and we hadn't even realised the restaurant was there. We were greeted by a very friendly lady, who sat us at the front of the restaurant over looking outside. The food menu and cocktail is extensive, and reasonably priced. 3 courses and a cocktail for two was $30. Service was very attentive but... More

ate with a group after a tour of rice paper making village: the restaurant's presentation of a rice paper platter with various foods to wrap in same is beautiful to behold and tasty as well: pork, chicken, fish paste... their veggie dumplings wonderful as well. an accommodating staff demonstrates how to 'construct' your meal, so you can eat, not wear... Me and my partner have been here 3 times since our visit to Hanoi! We left for Sapa a week ago but we plan to go back one more time before we leave the city. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and the food is great and reasonably priced considering how formal the restaurant is. Also, best spring rolls... More

We had a nice evening and we sat outside on the wooden seats. The food was lovely and the staff really did make sure we had a great time. The only thing what needs a little bit more attention is the toilet.

This restored original shophouse is worth visiting in its own right, and the staff at 69 are welcoming and helpful as soon as you step inside. There was nothing wrong with the food, but nothing that made it stand out either. The beef with black peppercorns didn't have any peppercorns, just ground pepper, and didn't have much flavour. The mixed... More

Just got back from dinner. The service was exceptional, everything delivered with a smile and all the staff were extremely courteous and polite. The food was excellent, very tasty. Papaya salad had just the right amount of acidity and spice, and my duck Hanoi style was perfectly seasoned. I felt that the waitresses were proud of where they worked, and... More

We normally go to New Day which we still think is great but tried this place (which is opposite) and so glad we did. It has a lovely calmness to it after the fun hustle and bustle of New Day. The food was excellent and the service charming. We will visit again when we are in Hanoi again. The building... More

6 of us found this following trip advisor and the guide book and we weren't disappointed. The setting and staff make you feel so welcome. We sat upstairs and were given menus straight away and the air con directed towards us. The food was lovely and we followed the waiters recommendation. He also showed us the traditional way of eating... More
