The authenticity of this establishment spread over a number of floors in a traditional "tube House" is lovely. Service was excellent. The food was a bit average for what it cost. I ordered the beef with black pepper and what I got was beef with so much garlic that it had no flavour other than garlic. I think there are... More

After debating for 30 minutes on where we should eat, we came across bar 69 and I'm so disappointed we found it on our last day!! The service was amazing, very friendly and welcoming making sure we were sitting in an area with a fan on us and we were offered menus as soon as sitting down. The food was... More

Filled with westerners, you could still get great Vietnamese food - but sit at a real table, not plastic chairs on the sidewalk. Great service.

We were lucky enough to stumble onto this place on our first night in Hanoi. The service was top-notch and the waiter, when I asked him to bring whatever he thought was best, did not hesitate and brought a plate of absolutely delicious fish and noodle broth in a 'hot pot'. The other dishes we ordered were also great, though... More

The Hanoi fish special was really lovely, the staff were also very sweet. Ask the waiter for their best dishes as these were better than the other dish (which was still very nice).

Historic venue with nice rustic interior. Friendly staff - not amazing english but very helpful. Very good value for money and the cha ca fish dish was amazing. Lots of flavour and very Vietnamese. Duck is nice as well. Thoroughly reccomend

I was staying in a hotel close by and after a long journey did not want to venture out looking for a restaurant so was going to eat here anyway but the guy on the door was like a cross between Uriah Heep and a marauding shark with flashing teeth and far too many gratuitous remarks. The food was OK... More

The ambiance of the restaurant is nice, it's dimly lit and rustic. The food is a tad expensive for the small portions of food that they serve, and our waiter was particularly surly. The other waitress who came to serve us for the 2nd half of our meal was much nicer. Food tip: One order is only good for 1... More

Me and wife had couple of fish dishes Both nice tasting esp recommend claypot seabass. but its quite expensive and the portions were bit on small side. The rice is designed to fill you up I assume. Wifi bit choppy. Service is good as you would expect.
