Great location in the French quater. Nice food but quite expensive. Pasta was great, pizza not so much.

Food and service were good, we both had pizza and wine and were happily full after. Pizza tasted good. Expensive for what it is though

My Vietnamese mate reckons that this restaurant is the best Italian in Vietnam. We sat on the small balcony (only room for 2 tables) overlooking the chaos of swarming people and vibrating motor bikes in the street below, cooled by the fans above. The food is definitely Italian/Mediterranean and made a welcome change after days of sampling traditional Vietnamese food.... More

Popped here early evening before we left the station. The service was superb, the pizza was brilliant (if a little heavy on the aniseed), the wine was well priced for SEA. The only thing stopping my 5 star rating is the fact the owner decided to have a very loud phone conversation next to my table despite the fact that... More

First impression is a cute authentic looking Italian restaurant, but once we got inside it felt awkward. The owner took our order and had real attitude when we asked questions about the size of the pizza etc. He certainly didn't make us feel welcome or relaxed, we felt like he only likes his usual customers and friends to come eat.... We enjoyed the atmosphere and service at Mediterraneo and thought we'd made a good choice with our starters - fish carpaccio and parma ham with mozarella - although the presentation was a bit heavy-handed. Main courses were a disappointment, particularly my husband's 'pork fillet', which was not fillet at all but a large lump of pork loin, tough and dry.... More

We had read that the pizza is terrific. We found it to be below average and not worth the trip. We had three different kinds of pizza and nobody was thrilled. I can't comment on any of the other dishes because we didn't try them. The upstairs area was nice and quiet and roomy, and they air conditioned it for... More

After two years of absence from Hanoi it was a great pleasure to be back in one of the best Italian restaurants in Hanoi. Because one of the managers is from Valencia he prepared a special "paella" for me and his Spanish friends. It was a kind of old friends get together but I believe that you can have Spanish... More

I read very different reviews from this restaurant. It is a extremely cozy place, very suitable for a romantic dinner. Food was of very good quality. Not so good was the client attention. Staff and management were all the time discussing on the bar and not with customer. The customer should be in the focus within an excellent restaurant. I... More
