Amazing food, excellent wine selection and a super friendly staff. Ate here several times and never once was i less than impressed with the food.

Was hoping for a nice monk fish, but it was dry and appeared as if cooked little love, and perhaps skill. The service from the vietnamese staff was good enough, but the proprietors, doing little more than standing idly chatting in the bar or repeatedly popping out on the street thereby seeming to have little interest in their clientele (other... Local food in Hanoi is great but if you just fancy a really well made pizza for a change then this restaurant is for you. A couple of courses plus a bottle of house wine will cost around $50 but it worth it as the quality of food and service is great.

Great location in the French quater. Nice food but quite expensive. Pasta was great, pizza not so much.

Food and service were good, we both had pizza and wine and were happily full after. Pizza tasted good. Expensive for what it is though

My Vietnamese mate reckons that this restaurant is the best Italian in Vietnam. We sat on the small balcony (only room for 2 tables) overlooking the chaos of swarming people and vibrating motor bikes in the street below, cooled by the fans above. The food is definitely Italian/Mediterranean and made a welcome change after days of sampling traditional Vietnamese food.... More

Popped here early evening before we left the station. The service was superb, the pizza was brilliant (if a little heavy on the aniseed), the wine was well priced for SEA. The only thing stopping my 5 star rating is the fact the owner decided to have a very loud phone conversation next to my table despite the fact that... More

First impression is a cute authentic looking Italian restaurant, but once we got inside it felt awkward. The owner took our order and had real attitude when we asked questions about the size of the pizza etc. He certainly didn't make us feel welcome or relaxed, we felt like he only likes his usual customers and friends to come eat.... We enjoyed the atmosphere and service at Mediterraneo and thought we'd made a good choice with our starters - fish carpaccio and parma ham with mozarella - although the presentation was a bit heavy-handed. Main courses were a disappointment, particularly my husband's 'pork fillet', which was not fillet at all but a large lump of pork loin, tough and dry.... More
