I visited Bobby Chin's as all of us have heard about him as a famous chef in TLC. Unfortunately the food was served with too plain or too salty. We didnt like the food. He must manage the taste of Asian food, rather than just implemented his expertise with ignorance the taste of Asian's

We have eaten at Bobby Chinn's twice in the last month. On both occasions, we all liked the food we ordered and found it to be prepared well and with high quality ingredients. The menu is a little confusing as the categories are not the standard "starter", "main" etc. so the first time we ordered too much food but the... More

I was in there in the past when this restaurant was in the corner of Hoan Kiem lake. That time, Bobby Chin's food was quite delicious and now i am not sure about the quality. Maybe, i will be there in the near future to re-check once again.

12M Dongs for 4 adults and 4 children, we expect more than being some guinea pigs for some chefs playing around with traditional vietnamese dishes. I am sorry to have brought my friends here for their 10-year wedding anniversary. You get a bad taste in your mouth when leaving the place. I hope Bobby Chinn serves better quality in his... More

My wife had always wanted to eat at this restaurant when we were in Hanoi and last night was that occasion. Unfortunately it turned out to be hugely disappointing. The mushroom starter and Vietnamese spring rolls were very average and the dipping sauce had far too much fish sauce so extremely salty. Whilst my wife's blackened barramundi was good the... More

We are here while in Hanoi. My friend was very excited about going and a major Bobby Chinn fan and happily it didn't disappoint! Service was very attentive and the food was excellent. Take your time reading the menu as it is highly entertaining. The only thing was that it was a bit quiet in the restaurant, but that may... More

Ate here on a Friday night. Atmosphere was a little lacking at first, it seemed the staff wasn't really ready for us at 7 p.m., but the place filled up around 8. Good selection of food and drink. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Decent English from the waiter. We each had the five course menu, soup and salads were... More

I am from California in the USA where there are many great restaurants. This compares favorably to the best ones where I have dined. The food was excellent. I had a crab salad and filet mignon medium rare. For desert I ate creme brulee trio (three flavors). All were excellent as was the service. I am going back less than... More

I can't really think of anything bad or good to say about this place. I felt it had been overstated to me. It isn't close to town, and maybe there are better, or just as good places to go if you are staying in Hanoi that are closer. When we arrived, we were the ONLY ones in the restaurant, and... More

They had the best menu I have ever seen. Our friend ended up buying one. Awesome Mac n cheese, the steaks were great as well! Enjoyed a great meal, sipped on some cocktails, and smoked the shish. Couldn't be happier.
