What's up with the great reviews of this place? Yeah, the service is pretty fast and courteous, but the food is mediocre and bland at best (I almost think it's toned down for the western palate). We've traveled all throughout SE Asia and have had 'better' Indian food elsewhere in Vietnam and other countries. This place is by no means... More

We went for a delivery to our hotel and we are gutted. Absolute rubbish. Flavourless. We can't quite understand how every curry (of three) and the coconut rice and the naan could be all so tasteless? Also from reading other comments the manager, Gopi sounds vile.

We visited Namaste on our last night in Vietnam since we had heard such good things and it did not let us down! The staff were very knowledgable about the curries and helped us choose from a large menu. We had two amazing curries and the evening was topped off by the owner. He checks every single table is happy... More

Excellent north and south indian cusine at the foot of the Hanoi tower, both for vegeterian and non vegetarian and on top of it, reasonably priced: 2 starter, 3 currieś, 1 raita, 3 nanś , and 4 drinks for less than 40US$. Being a great fan of Indian food, it outpasses most of the curry houses in Britain and Indian... More

We had the opportunity to dine at this place on our last night in Hanoi. The place is a must-visit for anyone looking for Indian food in Hanoi. The pudina/mint lassi was wonderful to start off the meal with - delectably spiced with ginger and mint! We were looking for something spicy as part of our main course. The owner,... More

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday after needing a change from Vietnamese food and were not disappointed. The owner recommended some dishes based on us telling her what we liked and we were blown away by the flavours. The owner then came to speak to us and gave us insight in to how the dishes were made... More

My hotel ordered vegetarian food from this restaurant as they did not have much choice for me. They indeed shared that this is the best Indian restaurant in Hanoi I must say, it is one of the best food that I had. Dal fry, paneer dish and mix veg is what I ordered and must say, no regrets.

Be it North or South Indian food... Namaste is the place to go for if you want to eat real authentic Indian food in Hanoi. The menu is elaborate and you have a lot to choose from. Namaste has been a survival for me and my friends because that is the only place we can look for to get good... More

The food was indeed authentic indian food, extremely delicious, the staff was very friendly and helped us order some great dishes out of hundreds of them. I was very impressed, definitely a place to check out when in town

Enjoyed a good meal here. Restaurant was busy, but the owner spent time with us explaining his menu and suggesting some meals we had not tried before. The meal was very tasty and good value. Ambiance was OK and fairly typical of a mid-market Hanoi restaurant. Overall, this is a restaurant I would recommend and would revisit when next in... More
