If you like great Indian food and a genuine Indian maitre'd, visit Namaste in Hanoi. A place regularly frequented by the Indian community and other ex pats. Great tandoor and all the spicy Indian options you would expect. A large restaurant in the centre of the city. Very clean and well managed. Polite and helpful staff.

I was in a trip to hanoi with office group. There were about 25 people in the group and we had two meals in this restaurant. Owner is Indian who is in Vietnam for 18 years. Must say that food was good. 1st day, they served a paneer dish which was different nd very good. Kebabs were good. Hall is... More

You always crave for the food that you have eaten all your life. At the same time, a travel is incomplete if you dont indulge in local food. I always adopt the strategy to eat local in day time and taste home food in the dinner. Namaste Hanoi was just perfect. I had Fish Biryani, Chicken Biryani, Prawns, Mutton Fry,... More

Highly recommend this place if you want to have lip smacking Indian food with great hospitality. Everything about this place is great! They serve the food piping hot and always tasty! The service is very quick, sometimes a bit slow when it gets crowded. It fills up quickly on weekends and for dinner so try to make a reservation before... More

I Dined here as a couple whilst visiting Vietnam and had an overall pleasant experience. My partner is Indian and so we have both eaten a lot of Indian food in our lives, both home cooked and in restaurants in many different countries. We only tried the north Indian vegetarian dishes which we found to be tasty and very homely,... More

I ordered my standard fare for a first time try at any Indian restaurant - malai kofta and bhindi masala with plain naan. The bhindi was good, not great. The malai kofta lacked flavor. It was lime green and tasted very plain - this was the worst malai kofta I've ever had, unfortunately. The plain naan had some garlic sprinkled... More

For some variety, we tried this Indian restaurant during our visit to Hanoi. Food was pretty decent. This place gets pretty packed especially on holidays and weekends, so making a reservation may be the route to go. During the rush hour, this place can get a bit chaotic but the owner tries to manage it as much as possible. Additionally,... More
