We went to this restaurant 3 years ago and arrived just as an earthquake in Burma rippled through the area...crockery and lights were shaking but the waitress said don't worry the chef just dropped something! The food was great (vietnamese) and the place was full. We have returned in 2014 and against our better judgement of never returning to the... More

Our tour group went to this restaurant on our first night in Hanoi. It was handy to the Metropole Hotel, so was an easy walk. This was our first meal in Vietnam and I was neither educated nor discerning! The food was fresh, tasty and adequate, and I enjoyed the meal, but I would choose a more sophisticated restaurant next... More

The rooms here are almost cave like but with nice olde worlde style decor. It feels like dining in another age. The food is very good Vietnamese fare and whilst it is at the more expensive end for Hanoi, it is well worth it. The service was also very good despite the staff averaging a very young age! I would... More

This is a very attractive bar with food service. Prices are a bit on the high side but the quality is good and the room is beautiful.

Near the Metropole Hotel, this is a small, quiet place to experience an enjoyable meal. The wait staff are attentive, the menu quite varied and the prices within reason. We had seafood spring rolls and a main course split between us -- which was about right.

Close to the Metropole Hotel and nice style and open kitchen and good food too. This was my second time there in two years.

This was the first restaurant we visited during our trip to Hanoi, it was recommended to us by the concierge at the Metropole Legend and we did not regret our visit. This was my second trip to the city so i was somewhat familiar with Vietnamese food but it was my father's first day in the country so this was... More

We were going to go here for dinner but several locals advised that the standard had slipped, making the food less valkue for money.

For a supposed fine dining restaurant, the food was really mediocre. I had fried rice, stir-fried vegetables and beef wrapped in lalot leaves, all of which were just alright. For the price, there are many better restaurants in the area. The service was great, but it's easy for them to attend to you when there's hardly anyone there!

We enjoyed our dinner at Club Opera and it is worth a visit. The open kitchen is interesting to watch. The service was very good. Our only negative comment is that there seemed to be a lot of staff members who stood in the dark corners of the restaurant and conferred with each other and who knows who else via... More
