An amazing place like this does not need my review... But I'm gonna write one anyway! I had the Stewed pork with caramel sauce, and it was delicious! Ms. Lieu was really friendly and helpful! Don't go here if you don't want the best food right at the beginning of your trip down south ;-)

Been travelling around Asia for a few months, trying a lot of questionable foods, but when we arrived to Hanoi my friends dragged me to this little restaurant. I loved it, best food in Hanoi we tried. Went back twice in three days! I had the honey chicken which was just amazing, seriously recommend it.

We wanted a good authentic meal in Hanoi that wasn't part of a hotel, our hotel recommended the Orchid restaurant and it was great. The food was the best we had on Hanoi and the service was exceptional. Each dish was explained in detail including why the pho soup was added at the table. If in Hanoi make sure you... More

Had I told my family that I planned on doing this class, they would have fallen about laughing. I don't particularly enjoy cooking, but I loved my experience of Vietnamese food so much, I wanted to learn how to reproduce them at home. Other reviewers have talked about the actual experience (shopping in the market, etc), so I won't bother... More

Went here the first day of our trip and had something of everything (=too much). Was a very nice way to start our vietnasmese food experience. One of the best Rau Muong we had. Very friendly service. Tables are scattered on three small floors so it had a private feeling to it.

After a bad squidlunchexperience on one of the boats on the westlake, and some other slightly boring foodexperiences in Hanoi this one was a topper. I was hungry so I ordered two starters and one main. The vietnamese pancake was tasteful and so was the Hanoi spring rolls. Fish in bananaleaf was also ok, but as a Norwegian I'm spoiled... More

Perhaps the culinary standard is good enough for non Asian but below par for Asian. Juice is too sweet most likely from commercial concentrate. Eggplant claypot was good but too sweet. Lemongrass chicken was dry and overcooked breast meat. Soup portion was small for the price and too sticky - most probably too much corn starch. Staff is helpful and... More
