Great bistro experience, good cold cuts and cheese and amasing choice of wine

I came there many times a couple of years ago, and did not have a chance to go back until 2 days ago. Still great place, with a bistro ambiance. There are a number of rooms so you cam make it private too. Good moment, will be back.

I preface my review by saying my husband and I came around 5:30pm and they seemed to be setting up. When you walk in, it looks like a wine shop. No one was there. We kinda stood there confused. I mean there are tables but is this the right place? Someone came and took us upstairs. The lady in great... More

Felt like a simple French meal so headed off here. Great wine selection, however storage was dubious if not appealing. Nicely executed meal except the sausage was virtually raw in the duck cassoulet which went uneaten and left me slightly nervous. Service was virtually non existent despite sitting next To the front counter. Left with mixed feelings

We had a fantastic dining experience. The bottom floor looks like a wine shop so first we passed by not understanding it was the restaurant we were looking for. The interior is very nice and there are 4 different rooms. Private room, smoking, non smoking and the wine store. I would have given a 5 but a few details were... More

Went there with a friend last week and again this week. Last week I was sitting downstairs, having the traditional 3 course menu, starting with rillette and pate, steak tartare for main and some apple crumble with ice creme as dessert. Delicious!! This week we went upstairs, smoking room, and had the charcuterie and fromagerie. Equally delicious, especially the home-made... More

Went to DC Bistro Boutique with my wife for dinner in early April. We were greater by Claude, authentic Frenchman with roots from Britany who invited us to take a sit and enjoy some of their extensive wine collection. After "appetizers" we went to the first floor and got a delicious dinner, Lorient style fish soup and seabass for myself... More

I’m giving it four stars because I would like to encourage more, small business owner establishments like this. They had the most interesting wine list I’ve seen in Hanoi. Ordered a bottle of red Loire for approx US$40 that was quite nice. The cheese was pretty good. That said...the charcuterie seemed a bit on the old and stale side. We... More

We stopped in one afternoon right around 6pm, thinking there was a happy hour as was mentioned on their website. But, there was not. Nonetheless, we ordered a tapas plate, which consisted of several types of cured hams, salamis, pate, two types of cheese, and pickles. Baguette and butter was also provided. The plate was huge and everything was absolutely... More

The restaurant has room for smoking, and another room for non-smoking, it is what I realize this time. Food is not good as my previous experience, somehow, both in quality, and plate presentation. Smoking room with yellow lights make atmosphere relaxed and more appetite, I think. The white neon light of non-smoking room make me feel pale. Anyway, that is... More
