Delicious appetizers on the peaceful balcony

We stopped in one afternoon right around 6pm, thinking there was a happy hour as was mentioned on their website. But, there was not. The restaurant has room for smoking, and another room for non-smoking, it is what I realize this time. Food is not good as my previous experience, somehow, both in quality, and plate presentation. Smoking room with yellow lights make atmosphere relaxed and more appetite, I think. The white neon light of non-smoking room make me feel pale. Anyway, that is... More

This place has been my top favorite in Hanoi but not any more. The foods taste different this time (January 2015) from those in December 2014. I don't know the reason but guess the chef is different now. Only one point: the dessert became a bit nicer than before.

Really pleasant to have good French cuisine in hanoi. Good wines and very tasty cheese ! You ll really appreciate this break and it's so nice to be in a French restaurant with only Vietnamese people around you ! I didn't know that Vietnamese people like so much French gastronomy !

A pleasant spot, narrow 2 story bistro. I had lentil soup which was watery and tasteless. My friend had salade nicoise that looked better. Fish dish was good, and tarte au pommes was excellent.

I went for the set lunch menu which presented excellent value... The starter was exceedingly appealing. Pate and rilette.... and while I didn't set high expectations, I was impressed with its presentation and quality. The bread was done to perfection, and I could not stop munching. By the time I was partially done with the starter, I will so full..... More

A pleasant change from street food and Asian cuisine. A Salade Nicoise, Steak with Bearnaise sauce, Charlotte au Chocolate. 2 glasses of wine each. $25 per person. The set menu is $9. Some dishes are extra. The wine is, too. I don't think the wine likes the heat of Hanoi. All in all, a pleasurable experience. Minus a star for... More

I heard about their lunch deal recently a set meal affair at $7. Like a good culinary citizen I made a reservation for for five smokers(I'm far from one, for twenty years, but many friends are. Ok! Don't judge me), Sunday at 12.30pm. When we got there we found that our reservation was recognized by anyone. OK. But no room... More
