Tay Tap is a five storey stunning venue set on the cusp of Hanoi's West Lake. We operate as a bar/ restaurant with a rooftop terrace and lakeside out door area, all fortunate enough to enjoy unrivaled panoramic views of West lake and on to the city. Live music is performed 6 days per week with a resident band alongside numerous local and international bands, musicians and singers. Every Friday and Saturday we play host to the top DJs in Hanoi and have scheduled some international acts in to our future program.

Outstanding view at rooftop

I cam there few time, maybe because I dont like the type and quality of music at Bar, I always went directly to rooftop and enjoy the weather and the views. From there I could see all of Westlake and further. At night, when the light was on, I couldnt find any word to demonstrate how beautiful it... read more

I come for the live music. Always a big crowd in. Best place in Tay Ho for a night out. Occasionally order the food which is fantastic and the views speak for themself. Great place!

After visiting separate overpriced and mediocre places in Westlake, I reluctantly agreed to visit Tay tap. And wow I am so happy I did! we sat on the terrace, super decor and the view so amazing. we ordered their burger, super juicy beef patty, balsamic onions, tasty bacon and blue cheese, yes dreams comes true :). We ended the evening... More

I had nothing to complain about this restaurant, from the great food (we had some steaks here, beautifully presented) to the wonderful location that overlooks the West Lake. Of course you'll receive very welcoming service IF you're a Westerner, I wonder if a Asian-looking guy was so rare here or not but I'd been given the cold shoulder here, the... More

I've been here several times to enjoy the best burger and steak on the wonderful furnished roof-top floor. You gotta meet the Chef here - a very special guy with a lot of ideas in mind.

Really enjoyed my time here, really slick spot with an excellent rooftop terrace letting you enjoy a cool one while looking over the lake. The food was delicious. I had the Tay Burger and it was really tasty. A nice change for Hanoi, a classy and laid back venue with great live music and good food. Not much more you... More

My fried cheese app was excellent. I had to wait quite some time for my crispy skin duck. It was ok but the skin was not very crispy. I really liked the dish overall. The cool thing about it taking so long was that the band began. They were a typically talented Philippine group! Nice atmosphere!
