Delicious local specialities

I had a meal there on my own on my last night in Hanoi and the service and food were both excellent. The fish I ordered came with a mini-barbecue so that I could heat the fish and cook the greens together and I was shown exactly how to do this when it arrived. The food was delicious and the... read more

The service was very good and our waitress was friendly. Most of our dishes (including vegetarian spring rolls, chicken steamed in banana leaf, duck with lemongrass and chili, and the Seanad were all below average to mediocre. Only one of our dishes was good - it was grilled pork with noodles. I'm not sure how to spell it but it... More

I went here with 3 friends on my birthday. The atmosphere is excellent, thanks to the attractive dark wooden decor. Also the staff are helpful and gracious. The menu is extensive, so you may struggle to pick the best dish. It's a good idea to share with friends. To be honest, I found the dishes a bit tame. I'm not... More

We went there for a dinner and it turned to be very delicious. Both the beaf steak and the hanoi pork on the bambus sticks were tasty. The staff is very welcoming and speaks a good English. The prices a bit higher but still very ok. Were seating upstairs where the atmosphere was very nice.

Went here based on TA-reviews on the third day in the new Lunar Year. This ment that we had only 3 starters to choose from - and they were all deep-fried, so no starters for us. We then only ordered mains but in the meantime a group of 14 had arrived and took the main part of the attention from... More

We went early on a Thursday evening and had beers and Bun Cha. Service excellent, food very good and well presented at a reasonable cost. Would definitely recommend.

We have had 4 meals at this delightful restaurant. Loved every one. Staff always helpful and so friendly, a vase of roses was placed on our table each tome we arrived for dinner on the balcony - good very authentic Vietmese cuisine - staff offering suggestions for best choices was a bonus at great prices. Cocktails and wine at very... More

Chose it based on strength of previous reviews and faith was justified. Great atmosphere; exceptional service; tasty food and a varied menu. It is a bit more expensive than some others, but you pay for the view and the great ambiance.

Arrived in Hanoi and looking for a quick meal came across 96, a few people had told us about this place so we happily jumped in and enjoyed a meal. Was a good range of dishes both North and South. We found we enjoyed ourselves so much we came back again after our trip to Ha long Bay. This was... More

We walked by Restaurant 69 Ma May street. The decoration attracted us to have a look at their menu. We were not disappointed. Foods were very good, service was very friendly and warm. However, the bill was a bit on the expensive side. Recommended.
