While in Vietnam couple of weeks ago (mixture of business and pleasure) with my nieces I visited Omar’s Namaste at the Tran Hung Dao St branch, can’t phrase enough of the hospitality received from the staff and the proprietor. The taste of food reminded me of the authentic food that I had the pleasure of eating when I visited India.... More

I took 14 volunteers to this restaurant on my send off party. And they all loved the food they ordered. I personally have ordered North Indian and south indian thali which was awesome. Guys you all should try thali. Thali means a dish/plate. Thali is a traditional way of having meal. Its a complete meal. They serve it in a... More

We were a group visiting Hanoi for the first time. The owner Gopi was pleasant on the first day and kept bragging about the awards he had won and how he imported most of the stuff from India. However, the actual experience was far far removed from anything award winning. The food was served in an assembly line fashion and... More

We mostly order for delivery at this restaurant and we are never disappointed. They already know our adress so we just have to say our name and they will deliver 20 minutes later. Try the tomato rice instead of normal basmati rice, it is delicious!!!

Absolutely amazing Indian food. The owner was extremely welcoming and excited to have us. The food was incredible, tasty, and authentic. Would travel from Canada to Hanoi just to eat this food again. Order the Palak paneer and the chicken tikka masala!!

Read the reviews and namaste lived up to all of them!!! All the curries are made to order and are sublime! I had the lunch tasting plate which consisted of 2x meat curries and a Dahl, rice and desert all for around $10. Service was impeccable. Note that namaste is moving on the 14/3/14 to 46 tho nhuom st and... More

We went to the Namaste in Hoi An and thought it was the best Indian we have had throughout Asia. The service was also impeccable. So we decided to check out the one in Hanoi- even though it's more expensive. We were not served for 10 mins which was not a good start. My partner ordered a veggie Thali and... More
