Entering the restaurant is very nice. I do recommend the second floor. The service was great, a waitress with good command of the English language who recommended several dishes, and proudly claimed that none of their dishes were spicy as I despise spicy food. The servings were a bit on the small size but adequate, but what I liked most... More

Our tour guide had us stop here for lunch on our city tour and we had a great experience. We let her order the dishes and we just enjoyed. Everything we had was great and it was a very affordable lunch.

Tour guide recommended this restaurant. Sadly it did not deliver. The 11 of us (with a booking) placed in a bland back room near bathroom. Staff service was poor - spilt drinks on table and cloths as well as spilt food juices on table and clothes. Food ok and price ok but most in group disappointed with meals.

This is our second visit to Yin & Yang. We were very impressed with the food on a previous trip and returned on our trip to Hanoi this year. This restaurant is wonderful and serves a variety of dishes using the freshest ingredients and the service was excellent! I would highly encourage you to visit this restaurant....you will not be... This was really disappointing especially with the great trip advisor reviews that we had read prior to our visit. Our food (beef with black pepper and chicken and cashews) was beyond average and our friends had to add a large range of condiments to make their pho worthwhile eating as it arrived just tasting of water. For the price it... More

Such a disappointing experience. We came here on our last night in Hanoi looking for some authentic Vietnamese food based on Lonely Planet and TA reviews. Suffice to say what we got was far from it... bland pho, oily and flavourless stir fry's and terrible noodles, such a disappointment. Combine this with slow and sloppy service and you've got a... We had a nice good value lunch here with good food and friendly service. You can choose from tables upstairs overlooking the street or the air conditioned ground floor. Recommended!

I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of my tour guide. I am not sure if they got a kick back from bringing a large group but the hype wasn't really worth it. The prices were a little more expensive than you can get in Hanoi but they weren't over the top. The food however doesn't really look like... More
