Good Vietnamese food

This restaurant is located near the Opera and is in an old colonial building. Not that big but enough space to feel comfortable. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is typical Vietnamese, fresh and well prepared. Had starter and main and loved everything, good experience. Price is... read more

We found this restaurant by chance. Whilst there were spare tables when we arrived, within half an hour it was full. As an earlier review mentioned, it looked French from the outside. I suppose it was in the French quarter after all. Whilst it had a la carte choices, on both our visits (we enjoyed it so much we went... More

Food was good, we ended up ordering their lobster and even though the price, it was totally worth, we were three and we barely finished it! Only one thing, make sure your make your whole order before 13:45, other wise they just close the kitchen, and unfortunately don't even mention to you. Might be left with out a desert.

We happened upon this restaurant on our way back to our holiday (Sofitel Metropole). We decided to go for one of the set menus (seafood). The food was fresh and delightful. Dessert was to die for. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for a relaxing, beautiful and typical vietnamese meal.

Just had a great experience at this restaurant - cocktail - beverage and a set menu that tasted fantastic. The waiters were attentive and the atmosphere calm, highly recommended. Price Per person just under 1m - same as a burger - salad and a beer at the next door Argentine beef house. Have to say I enjoyed the vietnamese menu... More

We had received a recommendation from friends in Sydney and, although it may not have been the same one they went to, we believe there was a link. In any event, we were not disappointed with our suggestions. In my view, their fried spring rolls are outstanding. So tasty and crunchy on the outside. Fortunately, we had arrived early and... More

This restaurant is situated very close to the Hanoi Opera Hilton hotel where I stayed with my tour group. My friend and I passed this restaurant whilst out walking from the hotel and thought it looked rather good. A lovely atmosphere inside with the staff very welcoming and helpful. They appeared to speak very good English. My friend and I... More

We ate here in February, 2015. The food was just delicious - very authentic Vietnamese. The restaurant was totally full, with a group of 24 people upstairs, but the manager came to help the waitress to ensure good service. The prices are very high by Vietnamese standards, but reasonable by US standards. Definitely worth a splurge. My husband's martini was... More

Went here as close to hotel. Friendly service in a old world French setting. Varied interesting menu. All the food we had was well presented and really tasty.

Arrived at the Hilton Opera in Hanoi and looking for somewhere to eat crossed the road and walked round the block looking at a few restaurants. This one was the busiest and had about 9 tables and we got the last one 28th January. 6 staff 'Serving' but disorganised with no apparent system. Noticed food at end of bar having... More
